Enflow Digital runs email marketing migration for ecommerce brands. We move you to Klaviyo, Omnisend or Brevo from Mailchimp, Yotpo, Attentive and other tools, with your subscribers and their consent, suppressions, segments, flows, templates and SMS. Then we warm up the new sending domain and cut over on a date you approve.

Why ecommerce brands switch email platforms

Ecommerce brands switch email platforms for the price, for features their tool lacks, or because the tool is closing. Most of the migrations we have run lately moved brands from Klaviyo to Omnisend, for the price, or from Mailchimp to Klaviyo or Omnisend, for features Mailchimp lacks.

The agency behind the move

Enflow Digital plans and runs email and SMS for ecommerce brands on Klaviyo, Omnisend and Brevo. The figures below cover every client we have served, not migrations alone.

A migration Omnisend wrote up

Omnisend published a story about Lone Wolf Paintball, a paintball brand we moved from Yotpo to Omnisend. Our summary of the story lists what we moved and rebuilt. The other two cards are Omnisend stories about our campaign and flow work, not migrations.

Every result here comes from Omnisend's own write-ups. A brand is named only where Omnisend names it.

What we migrate

An email marketing migration moves nine parts of your account. Contacts and their records are imported. Segments, flows, templates and forms are rebuilt in the new platform.

The ESP migration checklist we run

An ESP migration, a move from one email service provider to another, runs in nine steps. The steps follow Klaviyo's guide to migrating from another email service provider and add a side-by-side run with written cutover criteria.

Migration routes we run

Each migration route changes different things on the way. The cards below say why brands take each route, what is rebuilt and where the platform's own tools help.

Consent rules a migration must keep

Consent records must move with every contact, and suppressions must move before anyone is mailed. Three rules matter most in a migration.

Enflow Digital is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Your lawyer approves your consent wording and policies.

What our clients say

Founders and marketing leads of ecommerce brands describe the flows and emails we built for them. Renee Moore of Cinch Skin came to us because Omnisend recommended us.

What a migration costs

A migration runs inside a monthly retainer or as a stand-alone project. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and a stand-alone move is quoted per project after the audit. Brands that switch to Omnisend through us also get Omnisend's partner offer: 30% off the first 12 months of Omnisend and a free migration handled by Omnisend (checked on 5 November 2026). The new platform bills you separately.

How a migration runs

We run a migration in five steps, and you approve each one before the next starts. A typical migration takes 1 to 4 weeks, depending on scope and complexity, and the audit sets your date.

  1. Audit

We read your account: revenue by flow and campaign, list health, consent records and integrations. You approve the migration plan and the cutover date it sets.

  2. Set up

We set up the new account and connect your store. You or your developer add the DNS records we send, and you approve the platform plan, which the platform bills to you.

  3. Move

We move suppressions, then subscribers with their consent records. You approve the list of contacts that move and the ones left behind.

  4. Rebuild and run side by side

We rebuild the segments, flows, templates and forms and test them while your old platform keeps sending. You approve each flow before it goes live.

  5. Warm up and cut over

We send to engaged subscribers first, then switch off the old automations and forms. You approve the cutover once the written criteria are met.

Doing it yourself, the platform's migration team, or Enflow

Do it yourself when the account is small and you have the time. Use the platform's migration team when you want the data moved for free. Hire Enflow Digital when you want one team to plan, rebuild, test and warm up the whole move.

Which platform to move to

Move to Klaviyo for detailed segmentation, to Omnisend for a simpler account, or to Brevo for a large list on a tight budget. We run all three, so the audit ends with one recommendation for your store.

Email marketing migration questions

What is an ESP migration?

An ESP migration is a move from one email service provider (ESP) to another, such as from Mailchimp to Klaviyo. It covers subscribers and their consent, suppressions, segments, flows, templates, forms and integrations, and often SMS. Contacts are imported, but segments and flows are rebuilt in the new platform, and the new sending domain needs a warm-up before full-volume sends.

Will my deliverability drop when I switch email marketing platforms?

Deliverability can drop after a switch, but a planned move keeps it steady. The usual causes are inactive contacts imported in bulk, suppressions left behind and full-volume sends from a cold sending domain. We import suppressions first, authenticate the new domain and send to engaged subscribers first. Klaviyo's guide says brands that send more than once a week should send their first 2 to 3 campaigns to an engaged list or segment.

How long does an email platform migration take?

An Enflow Digital email platform migration typically takes 1 to 4 weeks, depending on scope and complexity. Five things move a project toward the short or the long end: the number of contacts and the quality of their consent records, the flows to rebuild, the templates and forms, SMS, and the integrations. The audit sets your date. For its own team's data move, Omnisend says it needs 5 days, as its migration page said on 6 November 2026.

Can we keep sending during the move?

Yes. Your old platform keeps sending campaigns and flows while we build and test the new account. Both run side by side until the cutover date, when the old automations switch off, so no subscriber gets the same email twice. Klaviyo's guide says to turn off the old automations once the new flows are live.

How do you move SMS subscribers and their consent?

SMS subscribers move with their consent record: the date, the form and the wording each person agreed to. Email consent does not cover SMS, so a contact with email consent only moves as an email subscriber. We also plan the sending number: keeping it needs a transfer, and a new toll-free number must be verified before it sends.

How do we migrate from Mailchimp to Klaviyo?

To migrate from Mailchimp to Klaviyo, connect Klaviyo's Mailchimp integration, which turns audiences into lists and brings over unsubscribes. Then import tags as profile properties, rebuild templates and forms, and recreate automations as Klaviyo flows. Switch off the Mailchimp automations once the flows are live, and send to engaged subscribers first. The Mailchimp to Klaviyo route has the details.

Should we move from Klaviyo to Omnisend?

Move from Klaviyo to Omnisend when your Klaviyo bill has outgrown what your flows bring in and Omnisend covers the features you use. Stay on Klaviyo if you rely on its deeper segmentation and reporting. Brands that switch to Omnisend through us get 30% off the first 12 months of Omnisend and a free migration handled by Omnisend. We run both platforms, and our Omnisend vs Klaviyo comparison sets the features side by side.

What happens to our Yotpo email and SMS?

Yotpo retired its email and SMS tools at the end of 2025, so brands that sent from Yotpo need a new platform. To move from Yotpo, export subscribers with their consent records, then rebuild flows, forms and SMS in Klaviyo or Omnisend. For moves to Klaviyo there is Klaviyo's free Yotpo email and SMS migration app, checked on 6 November 2026. We moved Lone Wolf Paintball from Yotpo to Omnisend, as Omnisend's story describes.

Is it worth migrating a large list from a basic newsletter tool to an ecommerce platform?

Yes, when your store sells through flows a newsletter tool cannot run well, such as abandoned cart, browse and post-purchase emails built on order data. A large list costs more on platforms that price by contacts or profiles, so we remove contacts who never open before the move. Ask for a cost comparison of the cleaned list before you decide.

What are the best practices for moving from separate email and SMS providers to one platform?

Keep email and SMS consent separate, move the suppressions for both channels first, and rebuild each flow so it chooses between an email and a text. Plan both channels on one calendar, so a shopper does not get the same offer twice. Verify the sending number before the first text, and switch off the old SMS flows on the cutover date.

Can you migrate before Black Friday?

Yes, if the move and the warm-up can finish before your Black Friday sends begin. An Enflow Digital migration typically takes 1 to 4 weeks, and a new sending domain needs a warm-up, because Black Friday volume from a cold domain risks the spam folder. If time is short, we keep Black Friday on your current platform and move after the peak.

What does a migration cost?

An Enflow Digital migration runs inside a monthly retainer or as a stand-alone project. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and a stand-alone move is quoted per project after the audit. Brands that switch to Omnisend through us also get 30% off the first 12 months of Omnisend and a free migration handled by Omnisend. The new platform bills you separately.
