10 Automated Email Flows Every eCommerce Store Needs
Explore essential automated email flows that drive sales and customer engagement for eCommerce stores at every step of the customer journey.
Email and SMS for pet brands
Enflow Digital plans and runs pet email marketing and SMS for pet brands that sell online: food, treats, supplements, toys and accessories. We build a profile for each pet, time reorders to the bag size, and send care content owners trust.

Pet brand founders usually call us with one of four problems. Here they are in their own words, with what we change.
Cat owners get dog food offers, and puppy owners get senior tips. We ask for each pet's type, age and size, and use it in every flow.
A bag of food runs out on a schedule. A reminder timed to the bag size and the pet's size brings the reorder to you, not to the shop down the road.
Too many sale emails and too little care content wear a list out. We plan training tips, care reminders and new products between offers.
We audit what is live, fix what is broken and finish the flows that never launched, one flow at a time.
Pet brands are a smaller group among our clients, and two of their founders have reviewed our work. The figures below cover every client we have served.

Six flows and campaigns carry most of the email revenue in a pet store. Each card gives the trigger, the timing and what the message says.
Trigger: a new sign-up.
Timing: at once, then a few more emails over the first week.
What it says: a short form for each pet's type, age and size, then the food, treats and toys that suit, and how delivery works.
Trigger: a cart or a product view with no order.
Timing: within hours, then again the next day.
What it says: the product, its ingredients and feeding guide, reviews from owners of similar pets, and delivery dates.
Trigger: the order is delivered.
Timing: on delivery and over the next two weeks.
What it says: how to switch food gradually, feeding amounts from the pack, toy safety, then a request for a review.
Trigger: the order date, the bag size and the size of the pet.
Timing: a few days before the bag runs out.
What it says: the same product for the same pet, with one-click reorder or an offer to subscribe.
Trigger: no reorder after the bag ran out.
Timing: one to two weeks after the reorder was due.
What it says: a reminder of their pet's food, what is new, and an offer only in the last email.
Trigger: the pet's age and the season calendar.
Timing: when a pet moves from puppy or kitten to adult, or adult to senior, and around launches, with SMS for early access.
What it says: food and care for the new life stage, seasonal care and new products.
Pet owners trust care advice, so pet emails carry health and safety weight. Three rules keep that trust.
A pet food marketed to treat or prevent a disease meets the US legal definition of a drug. The FDA regulates pet food and has separate guidance for diets marketed that way. We copy claims from your approved labels.
Care tips stay general and point to the vet for anything medical, such as a diet change for a sick pet, a dose or a symptom.
Feeding and dosing amounts come from your packaging, by weight and age. We never round or simplify them.
SMS consent is collected separately from email consent. Enflow Digital is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Your lawyer or regulatory adviser approves claim wording.
Two of these reviews come from pet brand founders, at GoDoggy.JP and theCorgily. The others come from other ecommerce brands we work with.

Founder of GoDoggy.JP
"It was an absolute pleasure working with Enflow Digital! They really helped us improve our Klaviyo performance and helped setup very profitable flows for us. On top of that, he went above and beyond to get a deep understanding of not only our business, but also our customers as well. Would highly recommend the team to anyone."

Founder of theCorgily
"We worked with Enflow Digital to develop a few email campaigns that were proposed by them and it was beyond my expectations! The copy is high quality and tailored to my store. The designs are great too and they are always happy to change any designs based on our feedback. Highly recommend and we would love to work with the again!"

Founder of Alkaline Herb Shop
Enflow Digital is the best company I have ever worked with. They are professional and on top of everything. They also create the most beautiful emails and have a lot of experience doing the work they do. I love that they do the research to help me come up with the best campaigns and that they have taken the time to learn our store. The emails they craft are usually filled with upsells, and the visuals are unparalleled.

Founder of Cinch Skin
Omnisend recommended I give Enflow Digital a try and they did not disappoint. They worked quickly and efficiently and made some great changes to our flows and promotional emails. They also understood our brand perfectly (both tone of voice and creative) I would recommend this team for anyone wanting a stress free partnership. Thank you!

CMO of Two Wheels Empire
We've just launched our automations and they are already bringing us sales! The team displayed an impressive level of expertise and professionalism throughout our collaboration. Communication with their team was always smooth and on point. Would recommend to anyone!
Pet brands pay the same fee as any store we work with. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and the scope of your account sets where you land.
$2,000 to $10,000+ per month
Our fee only. These factors move it within the range.
How many flows need building or rebuilding, pet profile and reorder flows included.
How many emails go out each month, life-stage and seasonal campaigns included.
Whether texts run beside your email.
How much custom design and copywriting each email needs.
A one-off rebuild or ongoing monthly work.
Your email platform bills you separately. Our email marketing agency pricing guide explains the usual fee models.
We run pet brand accounts in five steps, starting from what you know about each customer's pets.
We read your flows, campaigns, list health and reorder data, check what pet data you hold, then rank the fixes by revenue.
We set reorder timings from bag sizes and pet sizes, and put care content and launches on one calendar.
We write, design and build the flows in your account, highest earners first, and switch each one on once you approve it.
We group customers by pet type, age and size, by subscription status, and by how recently they ordered.
We test subject lines, timing and offers, and report revenue by flow and by campaign each month.
Pet profiles and subscriptions decide most of it. The platform must hold details for more than one pet per customer.
Klaviyo suits pet brands that keep several pets per customer in custom profile fields and sell subscriptions through an app such as Recharge. One of the pet founders on this page reviewed our Klaviyo work.
Omnisend suits small and mid-sized pet stores that want email, SMS and push in one simpler account, with custom contact properties for each pet.
Brevo suits pet stores with a large list on a tight budget, because it prices by send volume. Contact attributes can hold pet details too.
Pet sales follow the seasons of pet care and the gifting calendar. Four moments shape most of our plans for pet brands.
March to May
Flea and tick care, grooming, and outdoor gear as walks get longer.
June to August
Cooling products, travel kits, and reminders to stock up before holidays.
October and November
Calming products before fireworks dates, then coats and paw care for winter.
November and December
Gifts for pets and pet owners, advent calendars, and the last order dates.
Enflow Digital is not the right agency for every pet business. Four cases come up most.
Karolina Uvarkina and Julius Urbanavicius run Enflow Digital every day. Our team of project managers, copywriters and designers does the account work.

We ask for each pet's type, age and size at sign-up or after the first order, and save them on the customer's profile. Each flow then picks the products and tips for the right pet, so a home with a dog and a cat hears about both.
A pet food reorder email should arrive a few days before the bag runs out. We work it out from the bag size and the feeding amount for the pet's weight, then check it against your real reorder gaps. For example, a 12 kg bag fed at 300 g a day lasts 40 days, so the reminder goes out around day 35.
A pet brand needs a welcome flow with a pet profile, an abandoned cart flow, care tips after purchase and food reorders. Win-back and life-stage flows come next. Our guide lists 10 automated email flows every ecommerce store needs.
Yes. Pet supplements use the same flows, and their claims get the same care as human supplements: no treatment claims, only wording from your approved labels.
Yes. Enflow Digital is an Omnisend Strategic Partner and a Klaviyo Partner, and we also run Brevo accounts. We work inside the account you already have, so your customers, flows and sending history stay in place.
Enflow Digital's retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month. The number of flows, the campaigns each month, SMS and the design work set the fee. Your email platform bills you separately.
You own the account and the designs. We work in your own Klaviyo, Omnisend or Brevo account, and every flow and template stays there if you stop working with us.
The first flows go live as soon as you approve them. We build the flows with the highest revenue potential first, usually the welcome, abandoned cart and reorder flows, and switch each one on after you sign off the copy and design.
It depends on the time left and the health of your list, so start with the free audit as early as you can. A list that only hears from you at sale time needs smaller sends first, or more of your Black Friday emails land in spam. After the audit we tell you what is realistic in the time left.
Tell us what you sell, which email platform you use and what you want to fix, and we will reply by email.
Book a free strategy session. We look at your flows, your pet data and your reorder timing, and tell you what to fix first.
