10 Automated Email Flows Every eCommerce Store Needs
Explore essential automated email flows that drive sales and customer engagement for eCommerce stores at every step of the customer journey.
Email and SMS for food and drink brands
Enflow Digital plans and runs food email marketing and SMS for food, drink, coffee and wine brands that sell online. We build reorder and subscription flows for products that run out, gifting campaigns for the peaks, and age checks where the law needs them.

Food and drink founders usually call us with one of four problems. Here they are in their own words, with what we change.
Launch emails go out, and nothing runs between them. We build the welcome, reorder and win-back flows that sell every week.
Coffee, tea, snacks and wine all run out. A reorder reminder timed to the pack size, or a subscription offer, brings the next order to you instead of the supermarket.
Gifting brings a rush of one-time buyers. We warm the list well before December, then turn gift buyers into regular customers with flows that start in January.
Wine and spirits marketing has age and content rules. We add an age confirmation at sign-up and keep the copy away from health and lifestyle promises.
Food and drink is a smaller group among our clients, with new brands joining in 2026. The figures below cover every client we have served.

Six flows and campaigns carry most of the email revenue in a food or drink store. Each card gives the trigger, the timing and what the message says.
Trigger: a new sign-up, with an age confirmation for alcohol.
Timing: at once, then a few more emails over the first week.
What it says: the story behind the product, how to choose a roast, flavour or region, the best sellers, and how delivery keeps it fresh.
Trigger: a cart or a product view with no order.
Timing: within hours, then again the next day.
What it says: the products, tasting notes or ingredients, delivery dates, and any delivery threshold you set.
Trigger: the first order is delivered.
Timing: on delivery and about a week later.
What it says: how to store, brew, cook or serve it, a recipe or a pairing, then a request for a review.
Trigger: the order date and the pack size.
Timing: a few days before a typical customer runs out.
What it says: a one-click reorder link or a subscribe offer. Subscribers get a note before each shipment, with skip and swap options.
Trigger: no reorder after the next order was due.
Timing: one to two reorder gaps later.
What it says: new flavours or vintages, a reminder of their favourite, and an offer only in the last email.
Trigger: the gifting and harvest calendar.
Timing: gift guides from November, with early access for subscribers by SMS.
What it says: gift sets, limited batches and vintages, and the last order dates for fresh delivery.
Food and drink emails carry age, health and allergen rules. Three come up in almost every account.
Wine, beer and spirits brands confirm age at sign-up and email adults only. Texts about alcohol face extra limits from carriers and SMS platforms, so we check your platform's policy before the first send.
Claims such as “high protein” or “good for your heart” follow labelling rules. We copy claims from your approved labels and add none of our own.
Allergen details, best-before dates and delivery promises must match the product page. We link to the full ingredients instead of summing them up.
SMS consent is collected separately from email consent. Enflow Digital is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Your lawyer approves claim wording.
We have no food or drink testimonial published yet. These reviews come from founders of other ecommerce brands we work with.

Founder of Alkaline Herb Shop
Enflow Digital is the best company I have ever worked with. They are professional and on top of everything. They also create the most beautiful emails and have a lot of experience doing the work they do. I love that they do the research to help me come up with the best campaigns and that they have taken the time to learn our store. The emails they craft are usually filled with upsells, and the visuals are unparalleled.

Founder and CEO of Cocoon Apothecary
The Enflow Digital Team is dependable, professional, and provides top notch content. They took so much work off our plates by managing our email marketing and got us amazing results.

Founder of Cinch Skin
Omnisend recommended I give Enflow Digital a try and they did not disappoint. They worked quickly and efficiently and made some great changes to our flows and promotional emails. They also understood our brand perfectly (both tone of voice and creative) I would recommend this team for anyone wanting a stress free partnership. Thank you!

Founder of GoDoggy.JP
"It was an absolute pleasure working with Enflow Digital! They really helped us improve our Klaviyo performance and helped setup very profitable flows for us. On top of that, he went above and beyond to get a deep understanding of not only our business, but also our customers as well. Would highly recommend the team to anyone."

CMO of Two Wheels Empire
We've just launched our automations and they are already bringing us sales! The team displayed an impressive level of expertise and professionalism throughout our collaboration. Communication with their team was always smooth and on point. Would recommend to anyone!
Food and drink brands pay the same fee as any store we work with. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and the scope of your account sets where you land.
$2,000 to $10,000+ per month
Our fee only. These factors move it within the range.
How many flows need building or rebuilding, reorder and subscription flows included.
How many emails go out each month, gifting and launches included.
Whether texts run beside your email.
How much custom design and copywriting each email needs.
A one-off rebuild or ongoing monthly work.
Your email platform bills you separately. Our email marketing agency pricing guide explains the usual fee models.
We run food and drink accounts in five steps, starting from how fast your products run out.
We read your flows, campaigns, list health and reorder data, then rank the fixes by the revenue they can bring.
We set reorder timings from pack sizes and real reorder gaps, and put gifting dates and launches on one calendar.
We write, design and build the flows in your account, highest earners first, and switch each one on once you approve it.
We group customers by product, flavour or style, by subscription status, and by how recently they ordered.
We test subject lines, timing and offers, and report revenue by flow and by campaign each month.
Subscriptions and age checks shape the choice. Klaviyo and Omnisend both run food and drink stores, and we tell you which suits yours.
Klaviyo suits food and drink brands that sell subscriptions through an app such as Recharge, because flows can react to subscription events. It predicts the next order date once there is enough order data.
Omnisend suits small and mid-sized food stores that want email, SMS and push in one simpler account, with product blocks that pull your range into each email.
Brevo suits stores with a large list on a tight budget, because it prices by send volume, and stores that sell in markets where customers use WhatsApp.
Food and drink sales follow gifting dates and the seasons of what people eat and drink. Four moments shape most of our plans.
November and December
Gift sets, hampers and gift cards, with the last order dates for fresh delivery.
January
Subscriptions, lighter ranges and alcohol-free lines for drinks brands, plus the first reorders from gift buyers.
February to May
Treats, chocolate and wine gifts, timed to each country's dates.
June to August
Cold drinks, sparkling wine and barbecue ranges, with shipping notes for hot weather.
Enflow Digital is not the right agency for every food and drink business. Four cases come up most.
Karolina Uvarkina and Julius Urbanavicius run Enflow Digital every day. Our team of project managers, copywriters and designers does the account work.

Yes. Enflow Digital is a Klaviyo Partner and runs Klaviyo for ecommerce brands, food and drink brands included, as our Klaviyo agency page describes. We also run Omnisend as an Omnisend Strategic Partner. The work covers reorder and subscription flows, gifting campaigns and SMS, inside the account you already have.
Yes. Coffee, tea, juice, wine and spirits brands use the same reorder and gifting flows. Alcohol brands add an age confirmation at sign-up, and we check the SMS rules before any text goes out.
A reorder email should arrive a few days before a typical customer runs out. We work it out from the pack size and how fast it gets used, then check it against your real reorder gaps. For example, a 250 g bag of coffee used at 15 g a day lasts about 16 days, so the reminder goes out around day 12.
A food or drink brand needs a welcome flow, an abandoned cart flow, a first-order follow-up and reorder reminders. Subscriptions and win-back come next. Our guide lists 10 automated email flows every ecommerce store needs.
We plan and build the emails around your subscription app: sign-up offers, notes before each shipment, skip and swap reminders, and win-back for cancelled subscribers. The app itself runs billing and shipping.
Enflow Digital's retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month. The number of flows, the campaigns each month, SMS and the design work set the fee. Your email platform and subscription app bill you separately.
You own the account and the designs. We work in your own Klaviyo, Omnisend or Brevo account, and every flow and template stays there if you stop working with us.
The first flows go live as soon as you approve them. We build the flows with the highest revenue potential first, usually the welcome, abandoned cart and reorder flows, and switch each one on after you sign off the copy and design.
It depends on the time left and the health of your list, so start with the free audit as early as you can. Gift buyers from last year who have not heard from you since need smaller sends first, or more of your holiday emails land in spam. After the audit we tell you what is realistic in the time left.
Tell us what you sell, which email platform you use and what you want to fix, and we will reply by email.
Book a free strategy session. We look at your flows, your reorder timing and your gifting calendar, and tell you what to fix first.
