10 Automated Email Flows Every eCommerce Store Needs
Explore essential automated email flows that drive sales and customer engagement for eCommerce stores at every step of the customer journey.
Email and SMS for supplement and wellness brands
Enflow Digital plans and runs supplement email marketing and SMS for nutrition and wellness brands that sell online. We time reorders to the size of the bottle, help subscribers stay subscribed, and keep every claim inside what the rules allow.

Supplement founders tend to call us with one of four problems. Here they are as they describe them, with what we change.
A 30-day bottle starts a 30-day clock. If the reminder arrives late, the customer has bought elsewhere or dropped the routine.
Subscribers leave when they forget why they started. Emails that explain how the product works, and a skip option before each charge, keep more of them.
Monthly sale pushes train buyers to wait for a code. We plan education, bundles and loyalty rewards so the list buys between sales.
Generic copy promises results a supplement cannot claim. We write in structure and function language and send every claim to you for sign-off.
Supplement and wellness brands make up a large share of our recent work. The figures below cover every client we have served, not only supplement brands.

Six flows and campaigns carry most of the email revenue in a supplement store. Each card gives the trigger, the timing and what the message says.
Trigger: a new sign-up.
Timing: at once, then a few emails over the first one or two weeks.
What it says: what the product is for in plain words, what is in it, how to take it, and what customers notice and when, with honest time frames.
Trigger: a cart or a started checkout with no order.
Timing: within hours, then again the next day.
What it says: the product, the ingredients and the dose, and answers to what stops a first order: taste, capsule size and how long one pack lasts.
Trigger: the first order ships.
Timing: on delivery, then weekly for the first month.
What it says: when and how to take the product, what to expect early on and later, and simple ways to make it a daily habit.
Trigger: the order date and the number of servings in the pack.
Timing: about a week before the supply runs out, earlier when shipping is slow.
What it says: a one-click reorder link or an offer to subscribe. Subscribers get a note before each charge, with skip and swap options.
Trigger: no reorder after the supply ran out.
Timing: one to two weeks after the expected reorder date.
What it says: a short reminder of why they started, what is new in the range, and an offer only in the last email.
Trigger: the campaign calendar.
Timing: regular sends between sales, with early access for buyers by email and SMS.
What it says: how an ingredient works, how to build a routine, and what is new. Omnisend published one such email of ours that beat the brand's campaign average.
Supplement emails can say how an ingredient supports the body. They cannot say it diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents a disease. The FDA calls the allowed kind structure/function claims. We follow three rules in every supplement email.
“Supports healthy digestion” describes a function of the body. “Cures IBS” or “lowers cholesterol” claims to treat a disease, and stays out of every email and text.
Every claim needs evidence behind it, and US labels that make a structure/function claim also carry the FDA disclaimer. We use the claims on your approved list and do not invent new ones.
We never write an email that implies a customer has a condition because of what they viewed or bought. Segments use products and timing, not guesses about health.
In the UK, food supplements may use only authorised health claims. Enflow Digital is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Your regulatory adviser approves claim wording.
The review from Alkaline Herb Shop comes from the founder of a herbal store. The others come from other ecommerce brands we work with.

Founder of Alkaline Herb Shop
Enflow Digital is the best company I have ever worked with. They are professional and on top of everything. They also create the most beautiful emails and have a lot of experience doing the work they do. I love that they do the research to help me come up with the best campaigns and that they have taken the time to learn our store. The emails they craft are usually filled with upsells, and the visuals are unparalleled.

Founder of The Truth Beauty Company
We hired Enflow to audit and improve our automations and the rates tell the story! And a happy story it is! We have seen a lot of growth - and recognize the potential to see more growth. Julius and his team work quickly and provide very robust reports! 1000% would I work with Enflow again!

Founder of Cinch Skin
Omnisend recommended I give Enflow Digital a try and they did not disappoint. They worked quickly and efficiently and made some great changes to our flows and promotional emails. They also understood our brand perfectly (both tone of voice and creative) I would recommend this team for anyone wanting a stress free partnership. Thank you!

"It was an absolute pleasure working with Enflow Digital! They really helped us improve our Klaviyo performance and helped setup very profitable flows for us. On top of that, he went above and beyond to get a deep understanding of not only our business, but also our customers as well. Would highly recommend the team to anyone."

We've just launched our automations and they are already bringing us sales! The team displayed an impressive level of expertise and professionalism throughout our collaboration. Communication with their team was always smooth and on point. Would recommend to anyone!
Supplement and wellness brands pay the same fee as any store we work with. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and the scope of your account sets where you land.
$2,000 to $10,000+ per month
Our fee only. These factors move it within the range.
How many flows need building or rebuilding, reorder and subscription flows included.
How many emails go out each month, education and launches included.
Whether texts run beside your email.
How much custom design and copywriting each email needs.
A one-off rebuild or ongoing monthly work.
Your email platform bills you separately. Our email marketing agency pricing guide explains the usual fee models.
We run supplement accounts in five steps. Each step builds on your own order and subscription data.
We read your flows, subscription data and reorder gaps, then rank the fixes by the revenue they can bring.
We set reorder timings from the servings in each pack, and plan education emails between your sales.
We write and build the flows in your account, with every claim taken from your approved list, and switch each one on once you approve it.
We split one-time buyers, subscribers and lapsed customers, and group buyers by the product they take.
We test subject lines, timing and offers, and report revenue by flow and by campaign each month.
Klaviyo and Omnisend both run supplement stores well. The deciding factor is usually how your subscriptions are set up.
Klaviyo suits supplement brands that sell subscriptions through an app such as Recharge, because flows can react to subscription events. It also predicts the next order date once there is enough order data.
Omnisend suits smaller supplement stores that want email, SMS and push in one simpler account. The educational campaign in Omnisend's wellness story was sent from Omnisend.
Brevo suits stores with a large list and a tight budget, because it prices by send volume. It adds WhatsApp for markets where customers prefer it.
Supplement demand follows resolutions, seasons and gifting. Four moments shape most of our plans for wellness brands.
January
The busiest start of the year for wellness buying. Starter bundles, simple routines and subscription offers.
February to April
Customers who started in January run out. Reorder reminders and education on sticking with the routine.
September and October
Work and school routines restart, and colder months bring interest in immune support, sleep and energy.
November and December
Bundles and subscriptions at their best price of the year, with stock planned for the January rush.
Enflow Digital is not the right agency for every wellness business. Four cases come up most.

Yes. Enflow Digital plans email and SMS for wellness and supplement brands on one calendar in Klaviyo or Omnisend, so a reorder reminder or a launch reaches each customer once, on the channel they chose. SMS consent is collected separately from email consent.
A supplement brand needs a welcome flow, an abandoned cart flow, onboarding after the first order and reorder reminders. Subscription care and win-back come next. Our guide lists 10 automated email flows every ecommerce store needs.
A reorder email should arrive about a week before the supply runs out. We divide the servings in the pack by the daily dose, allow for shipping time, then check the timing against real reorder gaps in your order data. For example, a 60-capsule bottle taken at two capsules a day lasts 30 days, so the reminder goes out around day 23.
We send a note before each charge with skip and swap options, explain when results usually show, and reward loyalty. Where your subscription app allows it, a short offer at the cancel step saves some subscribers too.
A supplement email can say how an ingredient supports a normal function of the body. It cannot claim to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease. In the UK only authorised health claims may be used. Your regulatory adviser approves the wording.
Yes. Enflow Digital is an Omnisend Strategic Partner and a Klaviyo Partner, and we also run Brevo accounts. We work in the account you already have, subscription integrations included.
Enflow Digital's retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month. The number of flows, the campaigns each month, SMS and the design work set the fee. Your platform and subscription app bill you separately.
You own the account and the designs. We work in your own Klaviyo, Omnisend or Brevo account, and every flow and template stays there if you stop working with us.
The first flows go live once you approve them. We build the flows with the highest revenue potential first, usually welcome, abandoned cart and reorder reminders, and switch each one on after you sign off the copy.
It depends on the time left and how engaged your list is, so start with the free audit as early as you can. A list that has not heard from you in months needs smaller sends first, or more Black Friday emails land in spam.
Tell us what you sell, which email platform you use and what you want to fix, and we will reply by email.
Book a free strategy session. We look at your flows, your reorder timing and your subscriptions, and tell you what to fix first.
