Brevo Pricing in 2026: Plans, Costs by Email Volume and Fees
Brevo pricing looks simple on the surface, but the monthly bill depends on how many emails you send, not on how many contacts you store. The short answer: the Free plan costs $0 and allows 300 emails a day. Starter starts at $9 a month and Standard at $18 a month, both for 5,000 emails. Professional starts at $499 a month for 150,000 emails. Every price in this guide is in US dollars on monthly billing, read on Brevo's pricing page on 2 November 2026. Brevo was called Sendinblue until May 2023, when the company renamed itself Brevo.
This guide records the price Brevo's calculator shows at every email volume step for Starter, Standard and Professional. It then lists what each plan includes, what pushes the bill up, and the costs that sit outside the plan price. It ends with a comparison against Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Omnisend at the same list size and sending volume. Prices change, so we read every figure again on the day this page is published.
Enflow Digital wrote this guide. We are a partner agency of Brevo, Klaviyo, Omnisend and Shopify, and some of these programs pay us a commission when a business we refer signs up. The rankings and verdicts on this page follow the evidence and sources shown here.
Key Takeaways
- Priced by sends, not contacts: Brevo charges by monthly email volume, not by list size. Starter runs from $9 for 5,000 emails to $82 for 100,000. Standard runs from $18 to $429 for 500,000 emails, and Professional from $499 for 150,000 emails, on monthly billing in US dollars.
- The low steps cap your list: The 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 email steps cap Starter and Standard at 500, 1,500 and 2,500 contacts. From the 20,000 email step the cap is 500,000 contacts, so a 5,000-contact store pays at least $32 on Starter or $69 on Standard.
- Free plan: The Free plan costs $0, sends up to 300 emails a day, stores up to 100,000 contacts and keeps the Brevo logo on every email.
- Budget Standard for flows: Starter limits automation to 2,000 contacts and leaves out A/B testing and advanced reporting. Stores that run abandoned cart and post-purchase flows should budget Standard: a 10,000-contact list sending four campaigns a month pays $89 (40,000 emails).
- Extras to add: SMS and WhatsApp credits are sold separately, with US SMS from $0.0109 per credit. An extra Standard seat costs $12 a month, logo removal on Starter costs $12 a month, and yearly billing takes 10% off.
- What an agency adds: The plan price buys the software only. A Brevo agency adds the store integration, the flows, the campaign calendar, deliverability work and reporting, and charges for that on top.
Brevo pricing at a glance
The table shows the monthly price on monthly billing, in US dollars for the United States, at each email volume step on Brevo's pricing calculator. The figure in brackets is the per-month price with yearly billing, which Brevo discounts by 10%. The contact cap applies to Starter and Standard; Professional allows 2 million contacts at every step.
Volume counts campaign and transactional emails together. We moved the calculator slider step by step on 2 November 2026 and recorded what it showed, and we did not estimate any step. Starter stops at 100,000 emails, Standard at 500,000, and Professional runs from 150,000 to 10 million emails a month. Enterprise has no public price.

What changes your Brevo bill
Four things move the bill: the email volume step you pick, the contact cap at the low steps, the plan tier, and the billing period. Everything else is an add-on or a credit pack.
- Email volume. Starter offers 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, 30,000, 40,000, 50,000, 60,000, 80,000 and 100,000 emails a month. Standard adds 150,000, 250,000, 350,000 and 500,000. Professional runs 150,000, 250,000 and 500,000, then 1 to 8 million and 10 million. Campaign and transactional emails both count.
- Contacts. The 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 steps cap your list at 500, 1,500 and 2,500 contacts. A store with 3,000 contacts that sends 5,000 emails still pays for the 20,000 step: $32 on Starter, $69 on Standard.
- Plan tier. At 10,000 emails, Starter is $17 and Standard is $35. The $18 gap buys unlimited automation, A/B testing, advanced reporting, send time optimization and logo removal.
- Billing period. Yearly billing takes 10% off Starter, Standard and Professional. Starter at 5,000 emails costs $97 a year instead of $108 on monthly billing. Monthly plans run 30 days and are charged at the start of each period.
- SMS and WhatsApp credits. Both are sold separately on every plan and priced by destination and volume. Brevo's SMS page lists US SMS from $0.0109 per credit, with no monthly minimum and no expiry.
- Seats. Starter is a single-user plan. Standard includes one marketing seat and allows two more at $12 a month each. Professional includes ten. The sales CRM is a separate package: Sales Essentials costs $31 a month per seat and Sales Advanced $65.
- Landing pages and push. Standard includes one landing page, and each extra pack of five costs $24 a month. Web push comes with 1,000 subscribers on Starter, 10,000 on Standard and 20,000 on Professional; more is an add-on priced by subscriber count.
- Logo removal. Starter shows the Brevo logo unless you pay $12 a month. Standard and above include removal.
- Pay-as-you-go email credits. Occasional senders can buy email credits instead of a plan. Credits have no daily limit and no expiry, one email sent equals one credit, and credit plans do not include phone support.
Costs to plan for beyond the plan price
The plan price covers the software and the sending allowance. Budget separately for the items below.
- SMS registration and credits. Brevo's SMS page says US MMS needs a toll-free number registered through Telnyx, and the credits a message uses vary with length, type and destination. Test one campaign before you buy a large credit pack. Our SMS marketing service covers the registration and the first sends.
- Extra users. $12 a month per added Standard seat, up to two. Starter cannot add seats, so a second team member means moving to Standard.
- Dedicated IP. An add-on billed annually on Professional and included on Enterprise. The pricing page does not print the price, so ask sales. Stores sending under 100,000 emails a month rarely need one.
- Setup work. Brevo includes tailored onboarding on Enterprise only. Lower plans leave domain authentication, the Shopify or Magento connection, templates, forms and flows to you or an agency. Start with custom domain verification, because unauthenticated senders land in spam.
- Transactional email. Included on every plan, but it counts toward your monthly volume. Order confirmations and shipping updates can push a store up a step.
- Deliverability help. Professional includes three hours a year with a deliverability specialist. Below that, warm-up, list cleaning and complaint monitoring are on you.
What an agency adds on top
Brevo's price buys the platform. It does not connect your store, build the flows, write the campaigns, authenticate your domain or read the reports. An ecommerce email marketing agency does that work and charges for it on top of the plan price.
A Brevo agency usually covers five things.
- Setup. Store connection, domain authentication, list import with old unsubscribes suppressed, forms and consent settings.
- Flows. Welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase and win-back automations, which need Standard or above on Brevo.
- Campaigns. A monthly calendar, copy, design, segmentation and send-time choices, with A/B tests where the list is big enough to read a result.
- Deliverability. Warm-up, list hygiene, complaint monitoring and a sending-volume plan that keeps inbox placement steady.
- Reporting. Revenue per email, flow performance and list growth, read against the plan price so you know when the next volume step pays for itself.
How agencies charge for Brevo work
Agency fees come as monthly retainers, project fees or a share of email revenue. Our guide to email marketing agency pricing explains the three models and the ranges to expect. Whatever the model, the agency fee is usually a multiple of the Brevo bill, so compare the two before you choose a plan step.
Is Brevo worth the price?
Brevo is cheap when you send few emails per contact. It is less cheap once you need the flows and ecommerce features that Klaviyo and Omnisend include at lower tiers. The table compares monthly prices at the same list size with four campaigns a month. Each price was read from the platform's own pricing page on 2 November 2026.
The Brevo Standard column is the fair one for stores, because Starter limits automation to 2,000 contacts. Brevo's price is the lowest step that covers both the volume and the contact cap. At 1,500 and 2,500 contacts the cap sets the step, not the volume. Mailchimp Standard allows 12 sends per contact a month, Omnisend Standard 12 and Klaviyo 10, so every column covers four campaigns. Omnisend's page shows a 30% discount for paying three months upfront; the table uses the monthly price with that option off. Mailchimp's page shows 15% off the first year above 10,000 contacts; the table uses the standard monthly price.
| List size, four campaigns a month | Brevo Starter | Brevo Standard | Mailchimp Standard | Klaviyo Email | Omnisend Standard |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1,500 contacts, 6,000 emails (Brevo 10,000 step) | $17 | $35 | $45 | $45 | $25 |
| 2,500 contacts, 10,000 emails (Brevo 15,000 step) | $25 | $49 | $60 | $60 | $44 |
| 5,000 contacts, 20,000 emails | $32 | $69 | $100 | $100 | $81 |
| 10,000 contacts, 40,000 emails | $46 | $89 | $135 | $150 | $132 |
| 20,000 contacts, 80,000 emails | $74 | $119 | $285 | $375 | $265 |
What the numbers say
Brevo Standard is the lowest price from 5,000 contacts up. Below that, Omnisend Standard is cheaper: $25 against $35 at 1,500 contacts and $44 against $49 at 2,500. The gap in Brevo's favour widens with list size. At 20,000 contacts, Brevo Standard costs well under half of Mailchimp Standard and about a third of Klaviyo.
Price is not the whole story. Klaviyo's paid plan lists personalized product recommendations and predictive analytics at every tier, and Omnisend's Pro plan adds a product recommender. Brevo keeps AI recommendations, back-in-stock alerts and coupons for Professional at $499 a month. Klaviyo and Omnisend also show revenue per flow in their standard reports, which is how most stores judge email spend.
Choose Brevo when your list is large and you send a few campaigns a month. It also fits when transactional email matters as much as marketing, or when the budget is under $50 a month. Read Brevo vs Mailchimp if you are leaving Mailchimp's contact pricing. Read Brevo vs Klaviyo if flows and revenue reporting decide it. The Brevo alternatives list covers the cases where the contact caps or the feature gaps rule Brevo out. If you land on Klaviyo or Omnisend instead, our Klaviyo agency and Omnisend agency pages show what we do on each.

FAQ
Does Brevo have a free plan?
Yes. Brevo's Free plan costs $0, needs no credit card and sends up to 300 emails a day. It stores up to 100,000 contacts, keeps the Brevo logo on every email and limits automation to 2,000 contacts. Transactional email is included, and SMS credits can be added to the free plan.
How much does Brevo cost for 10,000 contacts?
Brevo does not price by contacts. A 10,000-contact store sending four campaigns a month, 40,000 emails, pays $89 on Standard or $46 on Starter. The floor is the 20,000-email step, $69 on Standard or $32 on Starter, because lower steps cap contacts at 2,500. At six sends a month, 60,000 emails, it is $104 or $65.
Does SMS cost extra on Brevo?
Yes. SMS and WhatsApp credits are sold separately on every plan, including the free one, and the price depends on the destination country and your volume. Brevo's SMS page lists US messages from $0.0109 per credit, with no monthly minimum and no expiry. The credits one message uses vary with length and type, so test before buying a large pack.
Is Brevo cheaper with monthly or yearly billing?
Yearly billing is 10% cheaper on Starter, Standard and Professional. Starter at 5,000 emails costs $9 a month on monthly billing or $97 a year, which Brevo shows as $8.08 a month. Standard drops from $18 to $16.17 and Professional from $499 to $449.08. Monthly plans run 30 days and are charged at the start of each period.
What happens when my list or my sending passes the plan limit?
On the Free plan, sending stops at 300 emails for the day. On paid plans the volume is a monthly allowance for campaigns and transactional emails. When you need more, you buy email credits, which never expire, or move to the next step. A list that outgrows the 500, 1,500 or 2,500 contact cap must also move up a step.
Why is Brevo so cheap?
Brevo charges for emails sent, not contacts stored. A big list that sends two campaigns a month pays far less than on Mailchimp or Klaviyo. The low price also leaves things out. Starter limits automation to 2,000 contacts, the first three steps cap contacts, SMS is extra, and a second user needs Standard. Add those and the gap narrows.
How much does Brevo cost for 50,000 emails a month?
Starter costs $56 a month for 50,000 emails and Standard $97, on monthly billing in US dollars. Yearly billing brings those to $50.42 and $87.25 a month. In pounds: £40 and £68. At this step the contact cap is 500,000, so list size no longer matters. Professional starts at 150,000 emails, so it does not apply at this volume.
How much does it cost to send 10,000 emails a month on Brevo?
$17 a month on Starter or $35 on Standard, on monthly billing; yearly billing brings those to $15.25 and $31.50 a month. The 10,000-email step caps your list at 1,500 contacts on both plans. If you send 10,000 emails only now and then, pay-as-you-go email credits avoid a subscription and never expire.
