7 Best Klaviyo Alternatives for Ecommerce Stores in 2026
Stores leave Klaviyo when the bill grows faster than the list, when SMS turns into a second spend commitment, or when a small team wants live chat at the weekend. The best Klaviyo alternatives for an ecommerce store in 2026 are Omnisend, Mailchimp and Sender. Shopify Email is the cheapest route for a small Shopify store, and ActiveCampaign the choice for long branching journeys.
We ranked seven platforms on six weighted criteria. The data comes only from the vendors' own pricing pages, help centers and Shopify App Store listings, read on 6 November 2026 in US dollars on monthly billing. Each entry says how the platform differs from Klaviyo on price, flows, SMS and deliverability, and what the switch costs.
Enflow Digital wrote this guide. We are a partner agency of Brevo, Klaviyo, Omnisend and Shopify, and some of these programs pay us a commission when a business we refer signs up. The rankings and verdicts on this page follow the evidence and sources shown here.
Key Takeaways
- Best overall: Omnisend ranks first. It costs $132 a month at 10,000 contacts on Standard against Klaviyo's $150 and gives 24/7 support on every plan, including Free. It migrates live workflows, forms, segments and templates from Klaviyo free for stores with 250 or more contacts.
- Best for Magento and support: Mailchimp ranks second: up to 200 flows and predictive segmentation on Standard at $135 for 10,000 contacts, a free Magento extension, and 24/7 email and chat support on every paid plan.
- Why stores leave: Klaviyo's Email plan jumps from $150 at 10,000 active profiles to $350 at 15,000 and $720 at 50,000. SMS is a separate spend commitment at $0.011 per US toll-free text. Live chat runs on weekdays only unless you buy the Professional support package, from $300 a month.
- Cheapest switch: Sender costs $69 a month at 10,000 subscribers with SMS on its Standard plan, and Shopify Email sends 10,000 emails a month free before charging $1 per 1,000. Both lack Klaviyo's predictive analytics.
- Get help: Our email marketing migration service moves lists, consent, flows and templates off Klaviyo, and a Klaviyo agency can first check whether a cheaper tier or a cleaner list fixes the bill.
The ranking at a glance
Prices are the monthly price on monthly billing in US dollars, read on 6 November 2026. Reviews are Shopify App Store ratings, because that rating covers the store integration an ecommerce buyer uses every day; G2 and Capterra block scripted reads. Klaviyo is the reference point, not an entry. Its Email plan costs $20 a month for 500 active profiles, $150 at 10,000 and $720 at 50,000, with ten emails per profile included and SMS billed separately. The Score column is the weighted total out of 100 described in the methodology below.

How we ranked these Klaviyo alternatives
We screened the platforms that Google's top ten and the AI engines name for klaviyo alternatives, plus the ones an ecommerce buyer expects. We kept the seven with a public price list, feature docs and a store integration we could verify. Left out: Sendlane, whose Shopify app is rated 4.1 from 14 reviews and whose pricing page says it has been acquired by Privy. Drip, whose Shopify app read 4.0 from 57 reviews on 6 November 2026. Privy, whose Shopify listing says the app is not currently available. Constant Contact, with a Shopify app rated 2.9 from 25 reviews. MailerLite, with a Shopify app rated 2.4 from 27 reviews. Attentive, which publishes no prices. Postscript, which sells SMS and RCS first, with email still rolling out. Campaign Monitor, whose Shopify app has no reviews and whose pricing page showed euros. Moosend, with no Shopify app and no SMS. HubSpot, as a CRM suite. Enterprise suites that sell through a sales process, such as Dotdigital and Bloomreach, were not screened: this list is for stores that can read a price list. Each criterion was scored from 0 to 10, multiplied by its weight and summed, so a perfect platform would score 100.
| Criterion | Weight | What we checked |
|---|---|---|
| Ecommerce features (flows, segmentation, SMS) | 30% | Pre-built store flows, segmentation on purchase data, product recommendations and predictions, and whether SMS is native to the plan |
| Price at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts | 20% | The monthly price at both sizes on the plan a store would buy, in US dollars on monthly billing, against Klaviyo's $150 and $720 |
| Deliverability tools and support | 15% | Support channels per plan, dedicated IP or sending domain options, and published deliverability help |
| Shopify and Magento integration | 15% | A listed Shopify app and its rating, a Magento extension, and what the integration syncs |
| Effort to migrate from Klaviyo | 10% | A Klaviyo importer or migration guide, a free migration service, and how much of the flow logic the vendor rebuilds |
| Independent reviews | 10% | Shopify App Store rating and review count on 6 November 2026 |
Why stores leave Klaviyo
Every reason below comes from Klaviyo's own pricing page, help center and Shopify listing, read on 6 November 2026; the SMS and support details were read again on 7 November 2026. None of them is a reason to leave if your flows earn more than the bill: Klaviyo still has the deepest Shopify data sync and the widest channel list on this page. If you are weighing it against the other store-first platform, our Omnisend vs Klaviyo comparison sets the features side by side, and Klaviyo vs Mailchimp covers the Mailchimp route.
- The price ladder steepens above 10,000 profiles: the Email plan costs $150 at 10,000 active profiles, $350 at 15,000, $400 at 25,000 and $720 at 50,000. Every active profile counts, including people who never open.
- SMS is a second bill. Mobile messages are a separate monthly spend commitment priced per message by country and number type. On 7 November 2026 the pricing page showed $0.011 per US toll-free SMS and $0.04 per MMS.
- Live chat on the Email and Marketing plans runs on weekdays only, next to 24/7 email support. Weekend chat needs the Professional support package, from $300 a month. A dedicated CSM and an SLA appear only on the Custom plan above 150,000 profiles.
- The add-ons add up. Composer, Customer Agent, Helpdesk and Customer Hub are paid add-ons on the Email plan. The Marketing plan that bundles reviews and Customer Hub costs $195 at 10,000 profiles instead of $150.
- Free is small: 250 active profiles and 500 emails a month, with email support for the first 60 days.
- Migration out is on you: Klaviyo publishes guides for moving in, not out. Omnisend, Sender and ActiveCampaign publish their own import or migration help for Klaviyo lists.
1. Omnisend · Best for Shopify stores wanting email, SMS and push
Omnisend
Best for Shopify stores wanting email, SMS and push
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.7 (3,203) · from $16 per month for 500 contacts · free plan yes
Omnisend is an email, SMS and web push platform built for online stores, and the platform most AI engines name first as a Klaviyo alternative. It prices by billable contacts. Standard costs $16 a month for 500 contacts with 12 emails per contact, $81 at 5,000, $132 at 10,000, $282 at 25,000 and $413 at 50,000. Pro, with unlimited emails, costs $59 up to 2,500 contacts, $150 at 10,000 and $715 at 50,000. Klaviyo's Email plan costs $150 at 10,000 profiles and $720 at 50,000, so Standard saves $18 a month at the first size and $307 at the second. Pre-built workflows for cart abandonment, welcome and post-purchase, unlimited segmentation, popups and A/B testing are on every plan including Free. The Shopify app is rated 4.7 from 3,203 reviews and has been listed since March 2014. Omnisend's own comparison concedes that Klaviyo predicts lifetime value and churn per customer and offers WhatsApp, a CRM and mobile push, which Omnisend does not.
SMS is where the plans differ most from Klaviyo. For new accounts SMS and MMS sit on the Pro plan, bought as a monthly credit subscription from $10. US messages cost $0.009 at the smallest packs, $0.0085 from $50 a month, $0.008 from $1,000 and $0.007 from $10,000. Pro also carries advanced reporting, the personalized product recommender and dynamic content. Support is 24/7 live chat and email on every plan, and accounts paying $400 a month or more get an account expert. Omnisend sends from shared IPs by default and reserves dedicated IPs for senders above 300,000 emails a week. The migration path from Klaviyo is the shortest on this list. Stores with 250 or more contacts get an expert-assisted migration on any plan: live workflows, live forms, the ten most recent templates, contacts and supported segments, in about five business days. Campaign reports do not transfer. Magento is not in Omnisend's list of native integrations.
Is Omnisend right for you?
Choose it if you sell on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Wix, want flows, SMS and push on one bill with support at any hour, and your Klaviyo bill has outgrown what the flows return.
Skip it if your segments depend on predicted lifetime value, you need WhatsApp or native two-way SMS, or you want a vendor-built Magento plugin.
Omnisend evidence
- Price ladder: $132 a month at 10,000 contacts and $413 at 50,000 on Standard; $150 and $715 on Pro, read with the 30 percent upfront discount removed (pricing calculator, 6 November 2026).
- Migration from Klaviyo: Free expert-assisted migration for stores with 250 or more contacts, regardless of plan. It covers all live workflows, all live forms, the ten most recent templates, contacts and supported segments, typically in about five business days (Omnisend help center).
- Support: 24/7 live chat and email on every plan including Free; an account expert from $400 a month of spend (pricing page).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.7 from 3,203 reviews, listed since 10 March 2014.
Omnisend: watch out for
Think twice if SMS is the reason you are leaving Klaviyo and your list is small. New Omnisend accounts get SMS only on Pro, which costs $59 a month up to 2,500 contacts before any credits, and Standard caps emails at 12 times your list size.
Omnisend's native integrations list names no Magento or Adobe Commerce; a Magento store connects through a third-party module.

2. Mailchimp · Best for Magento stores and teams that want chat support
Mailchimp
Best for Magento stores and teams that want chat support
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.8 (1,570) · from $13 per month for 500 contacts · free plan yes
Mailchimp prices by contacts and multiplies them into a send allowance of 10x on Essentials, 12x on Standard and 15x on Premium. Standard, the plan a store should compare with Klaviyo, costs $20 a month for 500 contacts, $100 at 5,000 and $135 at 10,000. It costs $310 at 25,000 and $450 at 50,000, and stops at 100,000 contacts for $800. Essentials runs from $13 to $385 at its 50,000 contact ceiling. Premium starts at $350 for up to 10,000 contacts. Unlike Klaviyo, Mailchimp counts unsubscribed and non-subscribed contacts toward the tier. Standard carries up to 200 automation flows with branching and multiple starting points, predictive segmentation, send time optimization and multivariate testing; Essentials caps flows at 4 steps. The Shopify app, rated 4.8 from 1,570 reviews, syncs Shopify segments, runs welcome, abandoned cart and back in stock emails, and reports attributed revenue inside Shopify. It does not claim the real-time event sync that Klaviyo's listing describes.
Mailchimp for Magento is free on every plan, including Free, and syncs customers, orders across the full lifecycle, every product type and cart contents in near real time. That is the one place Mailchimp beats Klaviyo outright for a Magento store: a self-installed extension with a five-step wizard. SMS is an add-on on Essentials and above, bought as a monthly credit subscription after an application; the credit prices are not published, so budget it with Sales. Every paid plan includes 24/7 email and chat support, where Klaviyo's paid plans offer live chat on weekdays only. Premium adds phone support and migration services through a vetted partner. There is no Klaviyo importer in the other direction: Mailchimp's own guide moves Klaviyo lists by CSV or through a Klaviyo integration inside Mailchimp, then templates, segments and automations are rebuilt. Mailchimp fits a Shopify or Magento store with up to 100,000 contacts that wants journeys and segmentation on a plan it can budget, and a help desk that answers at night.
Is Mailchimp right for you?
Choose it if you run on Shopify or Magento, want 200 flows and predictive segmentation on Standard, and value 24/7 chat support over real-time store events.
Skip it if your list holds many unsubscribed or lapsed contacts, you want push or WhatsApp, or you need SMS prices before you apply.
Mailchimp evidence
- Standard plan depth: Up to 200 flows with branching, predictive segmentation and send time optimization at $135 a month for 10,000 contacts (compare plans page and pricing page, 6 November 2026).
- Magento: Mailchimp for Magento is free on every plan and syncs customers, orders, products and carts in near real time (Mailchimp integrations page).
- Support: 24/7 email and chat on every paid plan; phone and priority support on Premium (pricing page).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.8 from 1,570 reviews, listed since November 2018.
Mailchimp: watch out for
Think twice if your list is big and quiet. On Standard, 50,000 contacts cost $450 a month whether you send once or twelve times, overage charges apply above your tier, and unsubscribed contacts count.
SMS needs an application and approval, and the credit prices are not published.

3. Sender · Best for Lowest bill with SMS included
Sender
Best for Lowest bill with SMS included
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.8 (18) · from $9 per month for 500 subscribers · free plan yes
Sender is a budget email and SMS platform that undercuts Klaviyo at every list size we checked. Standard costs $9 a month for 500 subscribers with 12 emails per subscriber, $27 at 2,500, $39 at 5,000, $69 at 10,000, $149 at 25,000 and $259 at 50,000. Professional doubles the allowance to 24 emails per subscriber and includes $6 a month of SMS credits, at $15 for 500 subscribers, $127 at 10,000 and $460 at 50,000. At 10,000 contacts that is $69 against Klaviyo's $150; at 50,000 it is $259 against $720. The Free plan is unusually large: 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month, with Sender branding. Unlike Klaviyo, SMS is part of the Standard plan rather than a separate spend commitment, though Sender shows the per-message rate only after you pick a country inside the account. The Shopify app, rated 4.8 from 18 reviews, lists abandoned cart, welcome and post-purchase flows and segments customers by purchase history.
The trade for the price is depth and scale. Sender lists Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop integrations but no Magento, and it has no predictive analytics or product recommendation AI. The review base is small: 18 Shopify reviews against thousands for Omnisend and Klaviyo. Support is 24/7 email and live chat on every plan, Professional gets priority support, and the pricing page offers a dedicated IP on Professional. Deliverability help beyond that is not described. Migration is where it differs from Omnisend: Sender's complimentary full-service migration, which moves contacts, segments, custom fields and suppressions and rebuilds automations and templates, comes with annual plans of 20,000 subscribers and more. Smaller stores use the import tools and Sender's Klaviyo migration guide. Sender fits a Shopify or WooCommerce store under 25,000 subscribers that wants the lowest monthly bill and simple flows. None of the five AI prompts we ran on 6 November 2026 named it for a store leaving Klaviyo; buyers find it through price comparisons, not AI answers.
Is Sender right for you?
Choose it if your store is under 25,000 subscribers, you want SMS and A/B testing on the cheapest plan, and simple abandoned cart flows are enough.
Skip it if you run on Magento, want predictive analytics or recommendation blocks, or want a large review base behind the platform.
Sender evidence
- Price ladder: $69 a month at 10,000 subscribers and $259 at 50,000 on Standard; $127 and $460 on Professional, month to month in USD (pricing page, 6 November 2026).
- Free plan: 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month at no cost, with Sender branding (pricing page).
- Store flows: Abandoned cart, welcome and post-purchase flows and purchase-history segments in the Shopify app, rated 4.8 from 18 reviews (Shopify App Store).
- Migration: Complimentary full-service migration with annual plans of 20,000 subscribers and more (Sender migration page).
Sender: watch out for
Think twice if you need Magento, predictive data or a proven app. Sender lists no Magento integration and no prediction features, and its Shopify app has 18 reviews.
The headline prices on the pricing page are 24-month promotional rates; the month-to-month rates above are what you pay without a contract.

4. Shopify Email · Best for Small Shopify stores that want no platform fee
Shopify Email
Best for Small Shopify stores that want no platform fee
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.8 (4,811) · from $1 per 1,000 emails after 10,000 free a month · free plan yes
Shopify Email, now sold as Shopify Messaging, is the email, SMS and WhatsApp tool built into Shopify admin. It prices by usage, not by contacts. Every store on Basic or higher gets 10,000 emails free each month, then pays $1 per 1,000 emails up to 300,000, $0.65 per 1,000 after that and $0.55 per 1,000 past 750,000. Abandoned checkout emails are always free. A store with 10,000 contacts that sends four campaigns a month pays about $30; the same store pays $150 on Klaviyo. SMS costs $0.012 a message in the United States, with one combined spending threshold across email, SMS and WhatsApp. Automations come from templates and the free Shopify Flow app: abandoned checkout, abandoned cart and browse, welcome, win-back, post-purchase thank-you and upsell. Segments come from Shopify customer segments. The app is rated 4.8 from 4,811 reviews, the largest review base on this list, and has been listed since April 2020.
What you give up against Klaviyo is depth. There is no predictive analytics, no recommendation engine of Klaviyo's kind, and the flow logic is Shopify Flow's rather than a marketing builder with splits and A/B tests on every step. There is no Magento or other platform: it runs only inside Shopify. Support is Shopify's help center and Sidekick, with no tiers. Deliverability tools and migration help are not published; you import customers through Shopify's own CSV tools and rebuild flows from scratch. Shopify Email fits a small Shopify store that wants to stop paying a platform fee while it builds its list, or a brand that wants a free fallback while it tests a bigger platform. It stops fitting when segmentation and automation start to drive revenue. ChatGPT and Gemini both named it the cheapest native route for a Shopify store leaving Klaviyo in our 6 November 2026 test.
Is Shopify Email right for you?
Choose it if you run a small Shopify store, want email and SMS inside the admin with no monthly fee, and your flows are the standard templates.
Skip it if you sell on Magento or another platform, you need predictive segments and recommendation blocks, or your flows need branching and testing.
Shopify Email evidence
- Price: 10,000 free emails a month, then $1 per 1,000 up to 300,000 (Shopify Help Center pricing page, 6 November 2026).
- SMS: $0.012 per US message, billed with email and WhatsApp against one monthly threshold (Shopify Help Center SMS pricing).
- Automations: Abandoned checkout template in Shopify Email; abandoned cart, browse, welcome, win-back and post-purchase automations through Shopify Flow (Shopify Help Center and shopify.com).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.8 from 4,811 reviews, listed since 14 April 2020.
Shopify Email: watch out for
Think twice if automation is why you bought Klaviyo. Shopify Email's flows are templates and Shopify Flow workflows, with no predictive analytics and no marketing-grade flow builder.
It only exists inside Shopify, so a move to another store platform means another migration.

5. ActiveCampaign · Best for Complex multi-step journeys with a CRM
ActiveCampaign
Best for Complex multi-step journeys with a CRM
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.5 (256) · from $15 per month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts · free plan no
ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation and CRM platform whose strength is the journey builder, and every plan includes multi-step automation. Its pricing page quotes yearly billing only. Starter costs $15 a month for 1,000 contacts with 10 sends per contact. At 10,000 contacts Starter costs $149, Plus $189, Pro $375 and Enterprise $589 a month; at 50,000 Plus costs $609 and Pro $969. Pro adds predictive sending, conditional content, advanced segmentation and attribution, with 12 sends per contact. Against Klaviyo's $150 at 10,000 and $720 at 50,000, Plus is cheaper at both sizes, Pro is dearer at 10,000 and cheaper at 50,000, and the month-to-month price is not published. The Shopify app, rated 4.5 from 256 reviews and listed since 2012, sends real-time store data to ActiveCampaign, runs abandoned cart and post-purchase emails and personalizes email, SMS and WhatsApp with purchase data.
There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial, and SMS is an add-on on Plus and above without a listed price. Support is chat and ticket on every plan, with priority support on Pro and Enterprise; phone support is not published. Deliverability tooling is not described on the pricing page. ActiveCampaign lists free contact migration on every plan, so the list moves at no cost even if the journeys do not. Its Magento integration page returned a 404 on the day we checked, so Magento stores should confirm the connector before they plan a move. The platform fits a brand that sells through several channels, runs long nurture and win-back sequences with branching logic, and wants CRM pipelines next to marketing. It fits less well for a store that mainly needs abandoned cart and post-purchase flows at a published monthly price. ChatGPT named it for automation-heavy Shopify stores in our 6 November 2026 test.
Is ActiveCampaign right for you?
Choose it if you run long branching journeys across email, SMS and WhatsApp, want a CRM in the same tool, and can commit to yearly billing.
Skip it if you need a free plan, a month-to-month price, a published SMS rate, or a confirmed Magento connector.
ActiveCampaign evidence
- Automation on every plan: Multi-step marketing automation from Starter; Pro adds predictive sending, conditional content and attribution (pricing page, 6 November 2026).
- Price ladder: Plus $189 a month at 10,000 contacts and $609 at 50,000, Pro $375 and $969, all billed yearly (pricing page contact selector).
- Store app: Shopify app rated 4.5 from 256 reviews, listed since February 2012; real-time store data, abandoned cart and post-purchase emails (Shopify App Store).
ActiveCampaign: watch out for
Think twice if you need to know the month-to-month bill. The pricing page quotes yearly billing only, SMS has no listed price, and there is no free plan.

6. GetResponse · Best for Cart recovery and Magento on a mid-priced plan
GetResponse
Best for Cart recovery and Magento on a mid-priced plan
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 5.0 (4) · from $19 per month for 1,000 contacts · free plan no
GetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform priced by list size, with unlimited monthly sends on every plan, the opposite of Klaviyo's profile-and-send model. Its pricing page showed euros from our location, and the US Shopify listing gives the dollar entry prices: Starter $19 a month, Marketer $59 and Creator $69 for 1,000 contacts. In euros, Marketer costs 69 at 2,500 contacts, 99 at 10,000, 189 at 25,000 and 319 at 50,000; Starter costs 69 at 10,000 and 259 at 50,000. The plan a store needs is Marketer: unlimited automation workflows, abandoned cart recovery, promo codes with revenue reports and advanced segmentation. Starter has one custom workflow and no cart recovery. Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce integrations are listed on every plan, which puts GetResponse among the few platforms here with Magento below an enterprise tier, although we did not read the Magento page itself. The Shopify app reads customers, products, orders and discounts and runs abandoned cart, price drop and win-back flows.
SMS, AI product recommendations, transactional email, a dedicated IP and a dedicated sending domain sit on the custom-priced MAX plan. A store that wants SMS pays enterprise money for it, where Klaviyo sells it as an add-on on any paid plan. Support is email and chat on every plan, with phone, Slack and a dedicated manager on MAX. There is no free plan, only a 14-day trial, and no migration service is published. The review base in the Shopify App Store is tiny: a 5.0 rating from 4 reviews on an app listed since 2022 should be weighed lightly. Against Klaviyo, GetResponse gives unlimited sends, cart recovery and web push on Marketer for less than the Email plan at every size we checked. It lacks predictive analytics, native SMS and a published US price at scale. It fits a store that sends often, wants push and cart recovery, and does not need SMS yet.
Is GetResponse right for you?
Choose it if you send often to a mid-sized list, want cart recovery and web push on one plan, and run on Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce without SMS.
Skip it if SMS matters to you, you want published US prices at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts, or you want a large review base.
GetResponse evidence
- Unlimited sends: Every plan includes unlimited monthly email sends (pricing page, 6 November 2026).
- Marketer plan: Unlimited workflows, abandoned cart recovery, promo codes with revenue reports and advanced segmentation (pricing page).
- Integrations: Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce listed on every plan; the Shopify app reads customers, products, orders and discounts (pricing page and Shopify listing).
GetResponse: watch out for
Think twice if SMS is on your roadmap: GetResponse offers SMS, AI recommendations and a dedicated IP only on the custom-priced MAX plan.

Brevo
Best for Large lists that send lightly

- Facts
- Reviews not published · from $9 per month for 5,000 emails · free plan yes
Brevo is an all in one platform with email, SMS, WhatsApp, chat, a CRM and transactional messaging on one account, and it prices by emails sent instead of profiles. Starter costs $9 a month for 5,000 emails and Standard $18, with contact caps of 500, 1,500 and 2,500 on the three smallest steps and 500,000 contacts from the 20,000 email step. Four campaigns a month to 10,000 contacts need the 40,000 email step: $46 on Starter or $89 on Standard. The same sends to 50,000 contacts cost $249 on Standard at the 200,000 email step. Klaviyo charges $150 and $720 for those lists. Abandoned cart recovery and segmentation by purchases are on every plan, and back in stock and price drop alerts start on Starter. Unlimited multi-step workflows start on Standard; Free and Starter cap automation at 2,000 contacts. AI product recommendations, dynamic coupons and RFM scoring sit on the $499 Professional plan, where Klaviyo includes recommendations and predictions on its Email plan.
SMS runs on prepaid credits sold separately on any plan, priced by destination and volume. Transactional email over SMTP and API is included on every plan, including Free, so order emails can stay on Brevo even if marketing moves. Support is email on Free, Starter and Standard and phone on Professional, which adds deliverability specialist hours and a dedicated IP add-on. The Shopify app installs from inside Brevo rather than the App Store, Brevo recommends one store per account, and the Magento integration is set up by Brevo's Enterprise team. For the move, Brevo's Klaviyo page points to Make or Zapier for contacts, segments and automations; there is no free done-for-you service. Brevo fits a store that sends two to four campaigns a month to a big list, wants every channel on one bill, and can run flows without predictive data. ChatGPT and Gemini named it the budget pick for a Shopify store leaving Klaviyo on 6 November 2026.
Is Brevo right for you?
Choose it if you send a few campaigns a month to a large list, want email, SMS, WhatsApp and transactional mail on one bill, and can run flows without predictions.
Skip it if your Shopify store lives off flows and recommendation blocks on a mid-tier plan, or you want an App Store listing with a rating you can read.
Brevo evidence
- Price at scale: Four campaigns a month to 50,000 contacts cost $249 on Standard at the 200,000 email step, against $720 on Klaviyo Email (Brevo pricing catalog and Klaviyo calculator, 6 November 2026).
- One account for every message: Transactional SMTP and API sending, SMS and WhatsApp on the same account; WhatsApp campaigns from Professional (Brevo pricing page and feature table).
- Automation cap: Free and Starter limit marketing automation to 2,000 contacts; Standard and above allow unlimited multi-step workflows (feature table).
Brevo: watch out for
Think twice if your store lives on Shopify and you want an App Store install with a public rating. Brevo's app installs from Brevo, which recommends one store per account, and its App Store listing shows no rating.
Product recommendations, coupons, phone support and the deliverability specialist start at $499 a month on Professional.

How these Klaviyo alternatives show up in AI search
We asked five buyer prompts on 6 November 2026 through DataForSEO's AI answer endpoint: two to ChatGPT with web search, one to Gemini with web search and two to Perplexity. Omnisend was named in four of the five answers and put first in three of them. Mailchimp appeared in three answers, and Brevo, Shopify Email, MailerLite and Drip in two each. The engines cited Shopify's own blog, Omnisend's and Klaviyo's pages and Reddit threads rather than agency posts, so the facts a buyer hears come from the vendors' pages, the same sources this ranking uses.
| Prompt | Engine | Platforms named |
|---|---|---|
| What are the best Klaviyo alternatives for a Shopify store? | ChatGPT with web search | Omnisend, Shopify Email, ActiveCampaign, Brevo, MailerLite, Drip, Mailchimp |
| Cheapest Klaviyo alternative with SMS marketing for a small ecommerce brand | Gemini with web search | Omnisend, Brevo, Shopify Email with a separate SMS app, MailerLite |

Red flags when choosing a Klaviyo alternative
- A price that only appears in a calculator, in euros, or on a sales call. Budget at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts on monthly billing before you talk to anyone.
- SMS that exists only on a higher plan or without a published per-message price. Three platforms on this list show the rate only after you apply or pick a country.
- A Shopify app with a low rating or a tiny review count. It is the integration you will live with every day.
- Migration help that moves contacts but not flows, segments, forms or templates. Ask for the written list of what gets rebuilt, and keep Klaviyo read-only until it is tested.
- An email cap tied to list size, such as 12 sends per contact, if you send daily during peak season.
- Magento support that exists only on an enterprise tier, through a partner, or on a page that returns a 404.
Which Klaviyo alternative fits your store

| A Shopify store with 10,000 contacts whose Klaviyo bill has outgrown the flows | Omnisend Standard or Pro, with the move run by our email marketing migration service | $132 on Standard or $150 on Pro; Omnisend migrates the account free for stores with 250 or more contacts, and we rebuild and test the flows |
| A 50,000 contact list that sends two to four campaigns a month | Brevo Standard, Sender Standard, Omnisend Standard | $249 on Brevo at the 200,000 email step; $259 on Sender; $413 on Omnisend; $720 on Klaviyo |

| A store that is not sure Klaviyo is the problem | Keep Klaviyo and have a Klaviyo agency audit the plan, the list and the flows first | The Email plan at your profile count; suppressing lapsed profiles can drop a tier |
| A team that wants the shortlist, the migration and the flows done for them | An ecommerce email marketing agency that works across these platforms | The platform fee above plus the agency's project price |
What it costs to switch from Klaviyo
The platform fee is the smaller half of the switch. The work is exporting profiles with their consent fields and suppressions, rebuilding flows, forms and templates, authenticating the sending domain again and warming it by sending to engaged segments first. Keep Klaviyo read-only for 30 days to compare attribution, and note that campaign reports do not transfer to any platform on this list. Two vendors do part of the work for you. Omnisend migrates live workflows, forms, templates, contacts and segments free for stores with 250 or more contacts. Sender's full-service migration comes with annual plans of 20,000 subscribers and more. If you want the whole move planned and run, our email marketing migration service covers the audit, the consent and suppression mapping, the flow rebuild, the warm-up and the cutover. Brands that move to Omnisend through us also qualify for Omnisend's partner offer, which that page describes.
| Platform | Price at 10,000 contacts | Price at 50,000 contacts | Migration help from the vendor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Klaviyo (stay) | $150 Email or $195 Marketing | $720 Email or $885 Marketing | Guides for moving in; none for moving out |
| Omnisend | $132 Standard or $150 Pro | $413 Standard or $715 Pro | Free expert-assisted migration from Klaviyo for 250 or more contacts, about five business days |
| Mailchimp | $110 Essentials or $135 Standard | $385 Essentials or $450 Standard | Klaviyo integration inside Mailchimp or CSV import; Premium Migration Services through Sales |
| Sender | $69 Standard or $127 Professional | $259 Standard or $460 Professional | Full-service migration with annual plans of 20,000 subscribers and more; a Klaviyo guide for the rest |
| Shopify Email | About $30 for four sends a month | About $190 for four sends a month | Not published; customers import through Shopify |

| Brevo | $46 Starter or $89 Standard at 40,000 emails | $249 Standard at the 200,000 email step | Make or Zapier guidance on its Klaviyo page; no done-for-you service |
FAQ
What is the best Klaviyo alternative for an ecommerce store?
Omnisend for most Shopify and WooCommerce stores. It costs $132 a month at 10,000 contacts on Standard against Klaviyo's $150, gives 24/7 support on every plan, and migrates live flows, forms, segments and templates free for stores with 250 or more contacts. Mailchimp if you run on Magento or want chat support at a lower bill.
What is the cheapest Klaviyo alternative with SMS?
Sender. Its Standard plan costs $9 a month for 500 subscribers and $69 at 10,000, with SMS, A/B testing and ecommerce reports included, and the free plan covers 2,500 subscribers. Shopify Email is cheaper still for a Shopify store, with 10,000 free emails a month and SMS at $0.012 a US message, but its flows are basic.
Why do stores leave Klaviyo?
Price at scale is the first reason. The Email plan costs $150 at 10,000 active profiles, $350 at 15,000 and $720 at 50,000, and every active profile counts. SMS is a separate spend commitment, at $0.011 per US toll-free text. Live chat runs on weekdays only, and weekend chat needs a support package from $300 a month.
Is Omnisend cheaper than Klaviyo?
Yes, at every size we checked. Omnisend Standard costs $81 at 5,000 contacts, $132 at 10,000 and $413 at 50,000; Klaviyo Email costs $100, $150 and $720. Omnisend's Pro plan with unlimited emails costs $150 at 10,000 and $715 at 50,000. SMS is extra on both: Omnisend credits from $0.009 a message on Pro, Klaviyo $0.011 per US toll-free text.
Can I migrate from Klaviyo without rebuilding every flow?
Partly. Omnisend's team rebuilds all live workflows, all live forms and the ten most recent templates free for stores with 250 or more contacts, in about five business days. Sender does the same on annual plans of 20,000 subscribers and more. Everywhere else, flows and templates are rebuilt by hand, and campaign reports never transfer.
What are the free alternatives to Klaviyo?
Sender's free plan is the largest: 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month with Sender branding. Shopify Email gives every Shopify store 10,000 emails a month free. Omnisend and Mailchimp give 250 contacts and 500 emails a month, and Brevo 300 emails a day to a list of up to 100,000 contacts.
Is Mailchimp a good Klaviyo alternative for Shopify?
For many stores, yes. Its Shopify app is rated 4.8 from 1,570 reviews, syncs Shopify segments and runs welcome, abandoned cart and back in stock emails, and Standard carries 200 flows with predictive segmentation at $135 for 10,000 contacts. You lose Klaviyo's real-time event sync and push, and SMS prices appear only after an application.
