The 7 Best Email Marketing Platforms for Magento (2026)
Magento is one of the most capable ecommerce platforms on the market […]
Magento email marketing
Magento email marketing starts with the order emails and the basic newsletter Magento sends on its own. Enflow Digital connects Klaviyo, or Omnisend through the free Magento 2 module we built, and builds the flows, segments and SMS your store data can drive.

Magento email marketing has three layers. Magento sends the order emails and a basic newsletter itself. An email platform such as Klaviyo or Omnisend adds the flows and segments, and an agency plans and runs the work.
Magento sends an email for each order, invoice, shipment and credit memo, from templates you can brand. Its newsletter sends campaigns to subscribers in batches, and product alerts email shoppers when a price drops or an item is back in stock (Adobe Experience League, read 7 November 2026).
Klaviyo's Magento 2 extension and our free Omnisend module sync customers, orders, products and store events such as Started Checkout and Added to Cart. The email platform then adds flows on those events, deeper segments and SMS (Klaviyo's Magento 2 data reference, read 7 November 2026).
As an ecommerce email marketing agency, we work inside the Klaviyo or Omnisend account you choose, connected to your Magento store. You keep the account, the data and every template. Your developers install the extension or the module, and we tell them what to set.
Magento's own newsletter suits a store that sends a few campaigns to its subscribers. Klaviyo, or Omnisend through our module, suits a store that wants flows on store events, deeper segments and SMS. Each cell comes from the vendor's own pages, read on 7 November 2026; the last row is our view.

| Automations | Transactional emails, plus price and back in stock alerts | Flows on Started Checkout, Added to Cart, Placed Order and Viewed Product | Automations on the module's events, such as started checkout and placed order |
| Segments | Customer groups; rule-based customer segments in Adobe Commerce only | Segments on synced events and profiles | Segments on shopping history, engagement and profile data |
| SMS | No SMS in Magento's email settings | SMS in the same account, with separate lists for email and mobile subscribers | SMS with consent synced by the module, charged per message |
| Sign-up and tracking | A newsletter sign-up that customers manage from their account | Web tracking by the extension; newsletter and checkout consent synced | Omnisend's tracking snippet on your storefront, added by the module |

Magento founders usually call us with one of four problems. Here they are in their own words, with what we change.
Magento's newsletter sends campaigns to a subscriber list in batches. We add the flows that send on their own, from welcome and checkout to post-purchase and win-back.
Magento sends through Sendmail or an SMTP server you set, and Adobe advises against Sendmail for now. We move sending to an SMTP provider and set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
An old or half-built connector often moves contacts and stops there. We connect orders, products, carts and checkouts too, so the flows can use them.
Magento's customer groups, such as General, Wholesale and Not Logged In, set discounts and tax. We give each group its own flows and offers.

We build these six flows first on a Magento store. Each card gives the Magento trigger, the timing and what the message says.
Trigger: Started Checkout on a cart, a quote in Magento, that has an email address, or Added to Cart.
Timing: within hours, then the next day. Klaviyo can take up to an hour to sync a checkout.
What it says: the items left behind, reviews and a link that rebuilds the cart.
Trigger: Magento's own product alerts, when a shopper asks to hear about a price drop or a restock.
Timing: as soon as the price changes or the stock returns.
What it says: the product, the new price or the stock news, and a direct link. We brand the alert templates to match your emails.
Trigger: the customer group a buyer belongs to, such as Wholesale or General.
Timing: at sign-up and after each order.
What it says: trade price lists and reorder reminders for wholesale buyers, product news for retail buyers.
Trigger: a newsletter sign-up or a new customer account.
Timing: at once, then a few more emails over the first week, in the language of the store view.
What it says: who you are, your best sellers and a reason to place the first order.
Trigger: Placed Order, then the order's shipment.
Timing: after the order, when it ships and a few days after delivery.
What it says: how to use the product, what pairs with it, and a review request. Magento's own order emails keep the receipts.
Trigger: no order for longer than your usual time between orders.
Timing: in steps, with an offer only in the last email.
What it says: what is new since their last order and why to come back.
Four connections decide what your Magento email can do. We set each one up with your developers and check it before the first flow sends.
Omnisend stopped supporting its own Magento 2 plugin on 1 April 2021. Our free module connects Magento Open Source 2.4 to Omnisend, with contacts and consent, store events, products and the tracking snippet.
Klaviyo's extension installs with Composer and needs Magento 2.4.0 or later. It syncs customers, orders, the catalog and newsletter subscribers, imports up to 5 years of history, then syncs every 30 minutes. Every store view syncs by default (Klaviyo, read 7 November 2026).
Magento sends through Sendmail or an SMTP server, and Adobe advises against Sendmail until a security issue is fixed. On Adobe Commerce on cloud, SendGrid carries transactional email only, not marketing campaigns (Adobe, read 7 November 2026).
Customer groups set discounts and tax classes, and store views usually hold a language. We map both into your email platform, so each store view gets emails in its language and wholesale buyers get trade offers.
Tracking comes with the extension or the module. We also add UTM tags to every email and SMS link, so Google Analytics can credit each sale to the message that brought it. Omnisend's help center lists Magento among the platforms without a native Omnisend plugin (read 7 November 2026).
Every flow sends only to people who agreed to get it. On Magento the consent comes from the newsletter, the checkout and your sign-up forms, and three settings matter most.
Registered customers manage their Magento newsletter subscription from their account. Klaviyo's guide asks for separate lists for email and mobile subscribers, and webhooks when you collect consent at checkout; we set up both.
SMS consent stays separate from email consent in Klaviyo and in Omnisend, and our module syncs both with each contact. The TCPA sets the US rules; PECR and UK GDPR set the UK rules. Our SMS marketing service runs texts beside your email.
An unsubscribe in your email platform must also reach Magento's subscriber list, or the next Magento newsletter mails that person. We set the sync and test it before the first send.
Enflow Digital is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Your lawyer approves consent wording.
Founders and marketing leads of ecommerce brands describe their work with Enflow Digital. The reviews do not say which store platform each brand sells on.

CMO of Two Wheels Empire
We've just launched our automations and they are already bringing us sales! The team displayed an impressive level of expertise and professionalism throughout our collaboration. Communication with their team was always smooth and on point. Would recommend to anyone!

Founder of Alkaline Herb Shop
Enflow Digital is the best company I have ever worked with. They are professional and on top of everything. They also create the most beautiful emails and have a lot of experience doing the work they do. I love that they do the research to help me come up with the best campaigns and that they have taken the time to learn our store. The emails they craft are usually filled with upsells, and the visuals are unparalleled.

Founder of The Truth Beauty Company
We hired Enflow to audit and improve our automations and the rates tell the story! And a happy story it is! We have seen a lot of growth - and recognize the potential to see more growth. Julius and his team work quickly and provide very robust reports! 1000% would I work with Enflow again!

Founder of Cinch Skin
Omnisend recommended I give Enflow Digital a try and they did not disappoint. They worked quickly and efficiently and made some great changes to our flows and promotional emails. They also understood our brand perfectly (both tone of voice and creative) I would recommend this team for anyone wanting a stress free partnership. Thank you!

The Enflow Digital Team is dependable, professional, and provides top notch content. They took so much work off our plates by managing our email marketing and got us amazing results.
Magento email marketing with an agency costs our fee plus your email platform's plan. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and the scope of your account sets where you land.
$2,000 to $10,000+ per month
Our fee only. These factors move it within the range.
How many flows need building or rebuilding, product alert templates included.
How many email campaigns go out each month.
Whether texts run beside your email.
How many store views and languages need their own emails.
A one-off setup or ongoing monthly work.
Your platform bills you separately. Our Omnisend Magento 2 module is free, Klaviyo prices by active profiles and Omnisend by contacts, and your developers or host set up the SMTP connection. Our email marketing agency pricing guide explains the usual fee models.
We set up a Magento store in five steps, from the module install to the first monthly report.
We read your Magento emails, your newsletter, your current connector, your sending setup and your order data, then rank the fixes by the revenue they can bring.
Your developers install Klaviyo's extension or our Omnisend module, we choose which store views sync, and we check the historical sync.
We write, design and build the flows, highest earners first, and brand the Magento product alert templates to match.
We group customers by customer group, store view and order history.
We test subject lines, timing and offers, and report revenue by flow and by campaign each month.
Klaviyo, Omnisend and Brevo all work with Magento 2 stores, each in its own way. The right one depends on your Magento version, your channels and your budget.
Klaviyo suits Magento 2.4 stores that want flows on checkouts, cart adds and product views, with every store view synced by default.
Omnisend suits small and mid-sized Magento stores that want email, SMS and push in one simpler account. Our free module connects it.
Brevo's Enterprise team sets up its Magento connection, compatible with Adobe Commerce 2.4 and Magento Open Source 2.3 and 2.4. Brevo prices by send volume rather than by contacts.
Enflow Digital is not the right agency for every Magento store. Four cases come up most.

Start with what Magento sends itself, the order, invoice and shipment emails, the newsletter and the product alerts. Then connect an email platform, such as Klaviyo through its Magento 2 extension or Omnisend through our free module, for flows, segments and SMS. Move sending to an SMTP provider, because Adobe advises against Sendmail for now.
Klaviyo has its own Magento 2 extension for version 2.4.0 and later. Brevo's Enterprise team sets up its Magento connection, and Mailchimp has an integration for Adobe Commerce, formerly Magento 2. Omnisend no longer supports its own Magento plugin, so stores connect through its API or a module such as ours. Our guide to Magento email platforms compares seven.
Our free module connects Magento Open Source 2.4 stores to Omnisend. It syncs contacts with email and SMS consent, products and categories, and store events from product views to placed, fulfilled, canceled and refunded orders. It also adds Omnisend's tracking snippet. Your developers install it, and the module page has the details.
The email platforms work the same on both, and Klaviyo's guide covers Magento 2 CE and EE stores alike. The differences sit inside Magento. Rule-based customer segments are an Adobe Commerce feature, and Adobe Commerce on cloud sends transactional email through SendGrid, which is not meant for marketing campaigns. Our module is built for Magento Open Source 2.4.
Use a full sync. Magento's subscriber list holds who signed up, and you can export it as a CSV or XML file for another tool. A sync through Klaviyo's extension or our Omnisend module also brings orders, products and store events, which flows need, and keeps consent current without manual exports.
Magento emails go to spam when they leave through the server's Sendmail without proper authentication. Adobe advises against Sendmail for now and offers an SMTP transport in the store's mail sending settings. We connect a dedicated SMTP provider and set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your sending domain before the first flow sends.
Magento's own emails come with the platform, and our Omnisend module is free. Klaviyo prices by active profiles and Omnisend by contacts, with SMS billed separately. An agency adds its fee on top. Enflow Digital's retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and the number of flows, campaigns and store views sets where you land.
You own the account and the designs. We work in your own Klaviyo or Omnisend account, connected to your Magento store. Your customer data stays in Magento and in your email platform, and every flow and template stays in your account if you stop working with us.
The first flows go live as soon as you approve them. Your developers install the extension or our module first, and we check the historical sync. Then we build the welcome and abandonment flows, which usually earn the most, and each flow switches on after you sign off its copy and design.
It depends on the time left and the health of your list, so start with the free audit as early as you can. A Magento store still sending through Sendmail needs its sending fixed first, or more of your Black Friday emails land in spam. After the audit we tell you what is realistic in the time left.
