10 Automated Email Flows Every eCommerce Store Needs
Explore essential automated email flows that drive sales and customer engagement for eCommerce stores at every step of the customer journey.
Email and SMS for outdoor and sports brands
Enflow Digital plans and runs outdoor ecommerce email marketing and SMS for sports, fitness and outdoor brands. We build flows around seasons, sizes and gear advice, and campaigns that land before each season starts.

Outdoor and sports founders usually call us with one of four problems. Here they are in their own words, with what we change.
Stores that moved off Yotpo or another tool often lost flows on the way. We rebuild welcome, cart and post-purchase flows in the new account and check that each one sends.
Ski, water, hunting and team sports sell in tight windows. We plan the campaigns and warm the list before the window opens.
Silence in the off-season hurts inbox placement. We send gear care, training and trip content between seasons, so the list is ready when sales start.
Outdoor buyers spot generic copy fast. We learn your sport, your gear and your customers before we write the first email.
Outdoor, sports and fitness brands are a steady part of our work, and Omnisend has published one of our outdoor results by name. The figures below cover every client we have served.

Six flows and campaigns carry most of the email revenue in an outdoor, sports or fitness store. Each card gives the trigger, the timing and what the message says.
Trigger: a new sign-up.
Timing: at once, then a few more emails over the first week.
What it says: a question about their sport or activity, then best sellers, gear guides and sizing help for it.
Trigger: a cart or a product view with no order.
Timing: within hours, then again the next day.
What it says: the gear, the specs that matter such as weight, waterproof rating and size, reviews from people who use it, and stock left in their size.
Trigger: the order is delivered.
Timing: on delivery, before first use and a few weeks later.
What it says: setup and care, how to get the most from the gear, and what pairs with it.
Trigger: a size or model returns, or opens for pre-order.
Timing: as soon as the stock changes.
What it says: the item they wanted, when it ships, and a direct link to it.
Trigger: no order for a full season.
Timing: just before their season starts again.
What it says: new gear for their sport, what changed this year, and an offer only in the last email.
Trigger: the season calendar.
Timing: early access for past buyers by SMS and email, before the season opens.
What it says: new season gear, events, and the last order dates before key weekends.
Outdoor and sports emails make promises about performance, safety and age limits. Three rules keep those promises accurate.
Waterproof ratings, weights and temperature ratings come from your product data. We never round a spec up in an email.
Knives, airsoft and paintball markers and some hunting gear carry age limits that differ by state and country. Texts about weapons face extra limits from SMS platforms and carriers, so we check your platform's policy first.
Fitness products can promise training, not medical results. Sports nutrition follows the rules on our supplements and wellness page.
SMS consent is collected separately from email consent. Enflow Digital is a marketing agency, not a law firm. Your lawyer approves claim wording.
The review from Two Wheels Empire comes from the CMO of a motorcycle gear store. The others come from other ecommerce brands we work with.

CMO of Two Wheels Empire
We've just launched our automations and they are already bringing us sales! The team displayed an impressive level of expertise and professionalism throughout our collaboration. Communication with their team was always smooth and on point. Would recommend to anyone!

Founder of Alkaline Herb Shop
Enflow Digital is the best company I have ever worked with. They are professional and on top of everything. They also create the most beautiful emails and have a lot of experience doing the work they do. I love that they do the research to help me come up with the best campaigns and that they have taken the time to learn our store. The emails they craft are usually filled with upsells, and the visuals are unparalleled.

Founder of The Truth Beauty Company
We hired Enflow to audit and improve our automations and the rates tell the story! And a happy story it is! We have seen a lot of growth - and recognize the potential to see more growth. Julius and his team work quickly and provide very robust reports! 1000% would I work with Enflow again!

Founder of Cinch Skin
Omnisend recommended I give Enflow Digital a try and they did not disappoint. They worked quickly and efficiently and made some great changes to our flows and promotional emails. They also understood our brand perfectly (both tone of voice and creative) I would recommend this team for anyone wanting a stress free partnership. Thank you!

The Enflow Digital Team is dependable, professional, and provides top notch content. They took so much work off our plates by managing our email marketing and got us amazing results.
Outdoor, sports and fitness brands pay the same fee as any store we work with. Our retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month, and the scope of your account sets where you land.
$2,000 to $10,000+ per month
Our fee only. These factors move it within the range.
How many flows need building or rebuilding, back in stock and gear care flows included.
How many emails go out each month, season openers included.
Whether texts run beside your email.
How much custom design and copywriting each email needs.
A one-off rebuild or ongoing monthly work.
Your email platform bills you separately. Our email marketing agency pricing guide explains the usual fee models.
We run outdoor and sports accounts in five steps, starting from your seasons and your order data.
We read your flows, campaigns, list health and order data by season, then rank the fixes by the revenue they can bring.
We put your seasons and launches on one calendar, and plan list warm-up before each peak.
We write, design and build the flows in your account, highest earners first, and switch each one on once you approve it.
We group customers by sport, gear category and size, and by how recently they ordered.
We test subject lines, timing and offers, and report revenue by flow and by campaign each month.
Klaviyo and Omnisend both run outdoor and sports stores well. Stores that sent email from Yotpo had to move when Yotpo retired its email and SMS tools at the end of 2025.
Klaviyo suits outdoor brands with large catalogues and many sizes, because it segments by product, size and browsing in detail, with SMS in the same account.
Omnisend suits small and mid-sized outdoor stores that want email, SMS and push in one simpler account. Lone Wolf Paintball moved from Yotpo to Omnisend with us.
Brevo suits stores with a large list on a tight budget, because it prices by send volume rather than by contacts. It also sends WhatsApp messages.
Every sport has its own calendar, so we plan from yours. Four moments come up for most outdoor and sports stores.
January
Home gym gear, training plans and memberships while motivation is high.
March to May
Running, cycling, paintball, camping and water sports gear before the first good weekends.
August to October
Hunting, ski and snow gear, layers and team sports, with pre-orders for sizes that sell out.
November and December
Gear deals, gift guides by sport and budget, and the last order dates.
Enflow Digital is not the right agency for every outdoor or sports business. Four cases come up most.

Outdoor ecommerce email marketing means flows and campaigns built around seasons, sizes and gear advice: a welcome that asks which sport, cart emails with the specs that matter, gear care after delivery, back in stock alerts, and season openers sent before demand peaks.
Yes. Enflow Digital is a Klaviyo Partner and an Omnisend Strategic Partner. Our Klaviyo agency page covers the Klaviyo work, and outdoor and sports stores are part of our work on both platforms. Omnisend's Lone Wolf Paintball story shows one of them.
An outdoor store needs a welcome flow that asks about the sport, abandoned cart and browse flows, and gear care after delivery. Back in stock and win-back come next. Our guide lists 10 automated email flows every ecommerce store needs.
We keep sending, less often. Gear care, training, trip ideas and early access to next season keep the list engaged, so inbox placement holds when the season starts.
Yes. Fitness equipment and activewear use the flows on this page. Sports nutrition follows the claim rules on our supplements and wellness page.
Enflow Digital's retainers run from $2,000 to $10,000+ per month. The number of flows, the campaigns each month, SMS and the design work set the fee. Your email platform bills you separately.
You own the account and the designs. We work in your own Klaviyo, Omnisend or Brevo account, and every flow and template stays there if you stop working with us.
The first flows go live as soon as you approve them. We build the flows with the highest revenue potential first, usually the welcome and abandoned cart flows, and switch each one on after you sign off the copy and design.
It depends on the time left and the health of your list, so start with the free audit as early as you can. A list that went quiet after the summer needs smaller sends first, or more of your Black Friday emails land in spam. After the audit we tell you what is realistic in the time left.
Tell us what you sell, which email platform you use and what you want to fix, and we will reply by email.
Book a free strategy session. We look at your flows, your season calendar and your list, and tell you what to fix first.
