8 Best Brevo Alternatives for Ecommerce Stores in 2026
Stores leave Brevo when the contact caps bite, or when the ecommerce features they want sit on the $499 Professional plan. Others leave when the Shopify connection needs more than Brevo's app gives. The best Brevo alternatives for an ecommerce store in 2026 are Omnisend, Klaviyo and Mailchimp. Sender is the budget pick and ActiveCampaign the choice for complex journeys.
We ranked eight platforms on six weighted criteria. The data comes only from the vendors' own pricing pages, their docs and Shopify App Store ratings, read on 2 November 2026 in US dollars. Each entry says how the platform differs from Brevo on price, flows, SMS and deliverability, and what the switch costs.
Enflow Digital wrote this guide. We are a partner agency of Brevo, Klaviyo, Omnisend and Shopify, and some of these programs pay us a commission when a business we refer signs up. The rankings and verdicts on this page follow the evidence and sources shown here.
Key Takeaways
- Best overall: Omnisend ranks first. It costs $132 a month at 10,000 contacts on Standard, with SMS from $0.007 a message. Every plan gets 24/7 support and a free migration in up to five days.
- Best for flows: Klaviyo ranks second with the deepest Shopify and Magento data sync and predictive analytics on every paid plan. It costs $150 a month for 10,000 profiles and $720 for 50,000.
- Why stores leave: Brevo caps contacts at 500, 1,500 and 2,500 on its three smallest steps. It keeps AI recommendations, back in stock alerts and coupons on the $499 Professional plan, and caps automation at 2,000 contacts below Standard.
- Cheapest switch: Sender costs $69 a month at 10,000 subscribers with SMS included on Standard, and MailerLite costs $89 on Comfort. Both lack the ecommerce depth of the top three.
- Get help: An ecommerce email marketing agency can shortlist, migrate and rebuild the flows. Stores staying on Brevo can work with a Brevo agency instead.
The ranking at a glance
Prices are the monthly price on monthly billing in US dollars, read on 2 November 2026. Reviews are Shopify App Store ratings, because that rating covers the store integration an ecommerce buyer will use every day. G2 and Capterra could not be read on the day of writing. Brevo is the reference point, not an entry. It charges by emails sent, from $9 a month, with contact caps on its three smallest steps. Its ecommerce features sit on the $499 Professional plan. The Score column is the weighted total out of 100 described in the methodology below.

How we ranked these Brevo alternatives
We screened the platforms that Google's top ten and the AI engines name for brevo alternatives, plus the ones an ecommerce buyer expects. We kept the eight with a public pricing page, feature docs and a store integration we could verify. Constant Contact was left out because its pricing page could not be read and its Shopify app rates 2.9 from 25 reviews. Moosend was left out because it lists no Shopify integration and no SMS. HubSpot, Zoho Campaigns, Mailjet and SendGrid were left out as CRM or developer tools rather than store marketing platforms. Each criterion was scored from 0 to 10, multiplied by its weight and summed, so a perfect platform would score 100. The Score column in the ranking table shows that weighted total; the per-criterion scores sit in the reviewer notes of this file.
| Criterion | Weight | What we checked |
|---|---|---|
| Ecommerce features (flows, segmentation, SMS) | 30% | Pre-built store flows, segmentation on purchase data, product recommendations and whether SMS is native to the plan |
| Price at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts | 20% | The monthly price at both sizes on the plan a store would buy, in US dollars on monthly billing |
| Deliverability tools and support | 15% | Support channels per plan, dedicated IP or sending domain options, and published deliverability help |
| Shopify and Magento integration | 15% | A listed Shopify app and its rating, a Magento extension, and what the integration syncs |
| Effort to migrate from Brevo | 10% | Import tools, a free migration service, and how much of the flow logic transfers |
| Independent reviews | 10% | Shopify App Store rating and review count on 2 November 2026 |
Why stores leave Brevo
Every reason below comes from Brevo's own pricing page, pricing catalog, feature table and integration pages, read on 2 November 2026. None of them is a reason to leave if your sending is light and your list is large. Brevo Standard at the 250,000 email step ($249) is still the cheapest way on this page to reach 50,000 contacts four times a month. For the full picture read our Brevo review, and for every step and add-on see our Brevo pricing guide.
- Contact caps on the small steps: 500 contacts at 5,000 emails, 1,500 at 10,000 and 2,500 at 15,000. A 3,000 contact store must buy the 20,000 email step, $69 on Standard or $32 on Starter, even if it sends twice a month.
- The ecommerce features sit on the $499 Professional plan: AI product recommendations, back in stock alerts, coupons and contact scoring. Phone support and deliverability specialist hours sit there too.
- Automation limits below Standard: Free and Starter cap marketing automation at 2,000 contacts. Starter also shows the Brevo logo unless you pay $12 a month, and each extra marketing seat costs $12.
- The free plan's daily cap: 300 emails a day means a 5,000 contact campaign takes 17 days to finish.
- Shopify is served by an app that installs from inside Brevo, with one store per account recommended.
- The Magento route: the integration is set up by Brevo's Enterprise team after a demo, not installed by your developer.
- Reporting: Free and Starter show basic opens and clicks; heatmaps and device reports start on Standard, and the Analytics studio on Professional.
1. Omnisend · Best for Shopify stores wanting email, SMS and push
Omnisend
Best for Shopify stores wanting email, SMS and push
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.7 (3,199) · from $16 per month for 500 contacts · free plan yes
Omnisend is an email, SMS and web push platform built for online stores. It prices by contacts. Standard costs $16 a month for 500 contacts with 12 emails per contact. It costs $81 at 5,000 contacts, $132 at 10,000, $282 at 25,000 and $413 at 50,000. Pro adds unlimited emails and bonus SMS credits equal to the monthly bill, at $59 for 2,500 contacts, $150 at 10,000 and $715 at 50,000. Against Brevo, that is more at 10,000 contacts than Brevo Standard's $89 for 40,000 emails. But there is no contact cap, no logo add-on and no $499 step for ecommerce features. Abandoned cart, welcome and post-purchase workflows, popups and AI segmentation are on every plan including Free. The Shopify app is rated 4.7 from 3,199 reviews and has been listed since 2014.
SMS is native and priced per message, from $0.009 at a $10 pack down to $0.007 at volume. Brevo, by contrast, sells prepaid credits from $0.0109 per US credit. Support is 24/7 by email and chat on every plan, and accounts spending $400 a month or more get an account expert. Omnisend offers a free migration in up to five days that moves automations, forms, segments and templates, the shortest switching path on this list. The platforms page lists Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Wix. Omnisend no longer supports its own Magento 2 plugin, so a Magento store connects through a third-party module. Omnisend fits a Shopify or WooCommerce store with up to 100,000 contacts that wants flows, SMS and push without an enterprise tier. In the AI answers we ran on 2 November 2026, ChatGPT and Gemini named it alongside Klaviyo for a Shopify store leaving Brevo.
Is Omnisend right for you?
Choose it if you sell on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Wix and want flows, SMS and push on one plan with support on every tier.
Skip it if your list is large and your sending is light enough that Brevo's email volume pricing stays cheaper, or you want a vendor-built Magento plugin.
Omnisend evidence
- Price ladder: $132 a month at 10,000 contacts and $413 at 50,000 on Standard; $150 and $715 on Pro (pricing page, 2 November 2026).
- SMS: From $0.007 a message at volume, with Pro plans receiving bonus SMS credits equal to the monthly bill (pricing page).
- Migration: Free migration in up to five days covering automations, forms, segments and templates (pricing page).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.7 from 3,199 reviews, listed since March 2014.
Omnisend: watch out for
Think twice if your store runs on Magento and you want a vendor-built plugin. Omnisend no longer supports its own Magento 2 plugin, and its platforms page lists Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Wix. A Magento store connects through a third-party module.
The pricing page shows a 30% discount for paying three months upfront; the list prices above apply after that period.

2. Klaviyo · Best for Flow-driven Shopify and Magento stores
Klaviyo
Best for Flow-driven Shopify and Magento stores
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.7 (3,427) · from $20 per month for 500 profiles · free plan yes
Klaviyo is the platform most AI engines and most Shopify agencies name first when a store outgrows Brevo. It prices by active profiles with ten emails per profile a month included. The Email plan costs $20 for 500 profiles, $60 at 2,500, $100 at 5,000 and $150 at 10,000. It costs $400 at 25,000 and $720 at 50,000. Unsubscribed and suppressed profiles are free. Brevo keeps AI product recommendations, back in stock alerts and coupons on its $499 Professional plan. Klaviyo includes predictive analytics, product recommendations, generative AI and 60 plus pre-built flows on every paid plan. The Shopify app, rated 4.7 from 3,427 reviews, syncs store events in real time. The Adobe Commerce integration ships automation templates for abandoned cart and welcome series and syncs catalogs with no SKU limit.
SMS is billed separately as a spend commitment at $0.01 plus carrier fees per US toll-free send. That is close to Brevo's $0.0109 per credit, but without prepaid packs. The Free plan gives 250 active profiles, 500 emails a month and email support for 60 days. Paid plans carry standard support, and higher support levels are not published on the pricing page. The cost of switching is the bill. At 50,000 contacts Klaviyo Email costs $720 a month, nearly three times Brevo Standard's $249 for four campaigns a month. There is no free migration service, but Klaviyo publishes an ESP migration checklist and the Shopify app rebuilds the data layer on install. Klaviyo fits a store whose flows already produce a meaningful share of revenue and whose team will use segmentation and predictive data every week. Every AI engine we asked on 2 November 2026 named it for a store leaving Brevo.
Is Klaviyo right for you?
Choose it if your Shopify or Magento store earns real revenue from flows and your team will use predictive analytics and segmentation every week.
Skip it if your list is large and your sending is light, or you need an SMTP relay and WhatsApp on the same account.
Klaviyo evidence
- Price ladder: $150 a month at 10,000 active profiles and $720 at 50,000, ten emails per profile included (pricing calculator, 2 November 2026).
- Store integration: Shopify app rated 4.7 from 3,427 reviews with real-time event sync; Adobe Commerce integration with abandoned cart and welcome templates.
- Included features: Predictive analytics, product recommendations and generative AI on every paid plan (pricing page comparison table).
Klaviyo: watch out for
Think twice if your sending is light. At 50,000 profiles Klaviyo costs $720 a month whether you send once or ten times, against $249 on Brevo Standard for four campaigns a month.
SMS is a separate spend commitment, and support levels above standard are not published on the pricing page.

3. Mailchimp · Best for Mid-tier price with 200 flows
Mailchimp
Best for Mid-tier price with 200 flows
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.8 (1,548) · from $13 per month for 500 contacts · free plan yes
Mailchimp prices by contacts and multiplies them into a send allowance of 10x on Essentials, 12x on Standard and 15x on Premium. Standard, the plan a store should compare, costs $20 a month for 500 contacts, $100 at 5,000 and $135 at 10,000. It costs $310 at 25,000 and $450 at 50,000, and stops at 100,000 contacts for $800. Essentials runs from $13 to $385 at its 50,000 contact ceiling, and Premium starts at $350 for 10,000 contacts. The difference from Brevo is where the ecommerce depth sits. Standard carries up to 200 automation flows with branching, predictive segmentation, send time optimization and multivariate testing. Brevo spreads those features between its $18 Standard and $499 Professional plans. The Shopify app, rated 4.8 from 1,548 reviews, syncs Shopify segments, runs abandoned cart and back in stock emails, and reports attributed revenue inside Shopify.
Mailchimp for Magento is free on every plan, including Free. It syncs customers, orders across the full lifecycle, every product type and cart contents in near real time. Abandoned cart emails link straight back to the cart. SMS is an add-on on Essentials and above, bought as a monthly credit subscription that does not roll over. One US text uses one credit, MMS needs Standard or Premium, and the credit prices are not published on the pricing pages. Phone support arrives only on Premium, and Premium Migration Services are offered through Sales. Against Brevo, Mailchimp costs more per contact but needs no $499 step for recommendations, and it has no transactional email in the marketing plans. It fits a Shopify or Magento store with up to 100,000 contacts that wants journeys and segmentation on a plan it can budget for.
Is Mailchimp right for you?
Choose it if you run on Shopify or Magento, want 200 flows with predictive segmentation on the Standard plan, and send often enough to use the contact-based pricing.
Skip it if you send rarely to a large list, need transactional email in the same account, or want published SMS prices before you apply.
Mailchimp evidence
- Standard plan depth: Up to 200 flows, branching, predictive segmentation and send time optimization at $135 a month for 10,000 contacts (compare plans page, 2 November 2026).
- Magento: Mailchimp for Magento is free on every plan and syncs orders, products and carts in near real time (Mailchimp integrations page).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.8 from 1,548 reviews (listing checked 2 November 2026).
Mailchimp: watch out for
Think twice if your list is big and quiet. On Standard, 50,000 contacts cost $450 a month whether you send once or twelve times, and overage fees apply above your tier.
SMS needs an application and approval, and Mailchimp does not publish credit prices.

4. Sender · Best for Lowest bill with SMS included
Sender
Best for Lowest bill with SMS included
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.8 (18) · from $9 per month for 500 subscribers · free plan yes
Sender is a budget email and SMS platform that undercuts Brevo at every list size we checked. Standard costs $9 a month for 500 subscribers with 12 emails per subscriber. It costs $39 at 5,000 subscribers, $69 at 10,000, $149 at 25,000 and $259 at 50,000. Professional doubles the send allowance and adds free SMS credits equal to the plan price. It costs $15 for 500 subscribers, $127 at 10,000 and $460 at 50,000. The Free plan is unusually large: 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month, with Sender branding. Unlike Brevo, SMS is part of the Standard plan rather than a separate credit purchase. A/B testing and advanced ecommerce reports are on Standard, and support is 24/7 by email and live chat on every plan. The Shopify app, rated 4.8 from 18 reviews, ships ready-made abandoned cart flows for email and SMS and segments customers by purchase history.
The trade for the price is depth and scale. Sender lists Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop integrations but no Magento, and there are no predictive analytics or AI product recommendation blocks. The review base is small: 18 Shopify reviews against thousands for Omnisend and Klaviyo. Dedicated IPs are available on Professional plans of 20,000 subscribers and more, and Sender advertises a free migration service, which keeps the switching cost low. SMS credit prices vary by destination and the US rate is shown only in the account calculator. A 10,000 contact store sending four campaigns a month pays $69 on Sender Standard. Brevo charges $89 on Standard or $46 on Starter for the same sends, with SMS sold as separate credits. Sender fits a Shopify or WooCommerce store under 25,000 subscribers that wants the lowest monthly bill and simple flows. ChatGPT and Gemini both named it the cheapest Brevo alternative with SMS on 2 November 2026.
Is Sender right for you?
Choose it if your store is under 25,000 subscribers, you want SMS and A/B testing on the cheapest plan, and simple abandoned cart flows are enough.
Skip it if you run on Magento, want predictive analytics or product recommendation blocks, or want a large review base behind the platform.
Sender evidence
- Price ladder: $69 a month at 10,000 subscribers and $259 at 50,000 on Standard; $127 and $460 on Professional (pricing page in USD, 2 November 2026).
- Free plan: 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month at no cost, with Sender branding (pricing page).
- Store flows: Ready-made abandoned cart flows for email and SMS in the Shopify app, rated 4.8 from 18 reviews.
Sender: watch out for
Think twice if you need Magento or deep personalization. Sender lists no Magento integration and no predictive or recommendation features, and its Shopify app has 18 reviews.
The headline prices on the pricing page are promotional 24-month rates; the monthly rates above are what you pay month to month.

5. ActiveCampaign · Best for Complex multi-step journeys
ActiveCampaign
Best for Complex multi-step journeys
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.5 (259) · from $15 per month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts · free plan no
ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation and CRM platform whose strength is the journey builder. Every plan includes multi-step automation. Starter costs $15 a month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts with 10,000 sends, and Plus costs $49. Pro costs $79 with predictive sending, conditional content and advanced segmentation. Enterprise costs $145 with 15 sends per contact and five seats. Month to month the Shopify listing shows $19, $59, $89 and $159. Prices at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts appear only in the pricing calculator, which we could not read on 2 November 2026. Budget from the base rates and ask sales. Against Brevo, automation is not capped by contacts on any plan and AI credits are included. But there is no free plan, and SMS is sold separately without a listed price. The Shopify app, rated 4.5 from 259 reviews, runs abandoned cart and post-purchase emails, with a product catalog and an ecommerce dashboard on Plus.
Store integrations split by plan. Shopify, WooCommerce and Square are standard on every plan, while Magento, BigCommerce and Shopify Plus are premium integrations on Pro and Enterprise. Support is by chat and ticket. ActiveCampaign lists free contact migration among its services, so the list moves at no cost even if the flows do not. Deliverability tooling is not detailed on the pricing page. The platform fits a brand that sells through several channels and runs long nurture or win-back sequences with branching logic. It also suits teams that want CRM pipelines next to marketing. It fits less well for a store that mainly needs abandoned cart and post-purchase flows at a known price. Brevo Standard or Omnisend give that with less effort. A 14-day free trial needs no credit card. ChatGPT named it for Shopify stores that want CRM-style automation in our 2 November 2026 test.
Is ActiveCampaign right for you?
Choose it if you run long, branching journeys across email, SMS and WhatsApp, want a CRM in the same tool, and sell on Shopify or WooCommerce.
Skip it if you need a free plan, a published price at your list size, or Magento on a plan below Pro.
ActiveCampaign evidence
- Automation on every plan: Multi-step marketing automation is included from Starter; Pro adds predictive sending and conditional content (pricing page, 2 November 2026).
- Store integrations: Shopify and WooCommerce on every plan; Magento, BigCommerce and Shopify Plus on Pro and Enterprise (pricing page feature table).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.5 from 259 reviews, listed since 2012.
ActiveCampaign: watch out for
Think twice if you need to know the bill before a sales call. Prices at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts show only in the calculator, SMS has no listed price, and there is no free plan.
Magento stores need Pro or Enterprise for the premium integration.

6. GetResponse · Best for Cart recovery and web push on one plan
GetResponse
Best for Cart recovery and web push on one plan
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 5.0 (4) · from $19 per month for 1,000 contacts · free plan no
GetResponse is an email marketing and automation platform priced by contacts, with unlimited monthly sends on every plan, the opposite of Brevo's email volume model. The US Shopify listing shows Starter at $19 a month, Marketer at $59 and Creator at $69 for 1,000 contacts. Pricing grows with the list up to 100,000 contacts. Its pricing page showed euro prices from our location. Starter costs EUR 16 at 1,000 contacts, EUR 69 at 10,000 and EUR 259 at 50,000. Marketer costs EUR 54, EUR 99 and EUR 319 at the same sizes. The plan a store needs is Marketer: unlimited automation workflows, abandoned cart recovery, advanced segmentation, promo codes with revenue reports and unlimited web push. Starter has one custom workflow and no cart recovery. Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce integrations are available on every plan, which makes GetResponse one of two platforms here with Magento below an enterprise tier.
SMS marketing, AI product recommendations, a dedicated IP and a dedicated sending domain sit on the Enterprise plan with custom pricing. A store that wants SMS pays enterprise money for it, much as it would on Brevo's Professional tier for other features. Support is email and chat on every plan, with phone and Slack on Enterprise. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial that needs no card. The review base in the Shopify App Store is tiny. A 5.0 rating from 4 reviews on an app listed since 2022 should be weighed lightly. Against Brevo, GetResponse gives unlimited sends, cart recovery and web push on Marketer for about the price of Brevo Standard at 40,000 emails. But it asks for Enterprise for the SMS that Brevo sells as credits on any plan. It fits a store that sends often, wants push and cart recovery, and does not need SMS yet.
Is GetResponse right for you?
Choose it if you send often to a mid-sized list, want cart recovery and web push on one plan, and run on Shopify, Magento or WooCommerce without SMS.
Skip it if SMS matters to you, you want published US prices at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts, or you want a large review base.
GetResponse evidence
- Unlimited sends: Every plan includes unlimited monthly email sends (pricing page, 2 November 2026).
- Marketer plan: Unlimited workflows, abandoned cart recovery, promo codes with revenue reports and unlimited web push (pricing page).
- Integrations: Shopify, Magento and WooCommerce available on every plan (pricing page feature list).
GetResponse: watch out for
Think twice if SMS is on your roadmap: GetResponse offers SMS, AI recommendations and a dedicated IP only on the custom-priced Enterprise plan.

7. Drip · Best for Shopify DTC brands wanting store-first flows
Drip
Best for Shopify DTC brands wanting store-first flows
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 4.5 (56) · from $39 per month · free plan no
Drip is an ecommerce-only marketing platform. Its Shopify listing prices it from $39 a month with a 14-day trial. The price rises with the number of active people on the list and the volume of email sent. Its pricing page blocked our reader on 2 November 2026, so the tiers at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts are not recorded here. What a store gets is focus. There are pre-built Shopify flows for price drop, abandoned cart, back in stock and welcome, plus real-time segmentation on Shopify customer and order data. Product recommendation blocks, SMS campaigns and a workflow builder round it out. The app reads customers, products, orders, discounts and store analytics. Against Brevo, Drip puts the ecommerce blocks Brevo gates behind Professional into its base product. But it has no free plan, no CRM and no WhatsApp, and the listing names no transactional email.
The Shopify app is rated 4.5 from 56 reviews and has been listed since 2019, a far smaller base than Omnisend or Klaviyo. Support levels, dedicated IP options and migration help are not described on the listing. The listing names Shopify rather than Magento, so a Magento store should confirm support first. The sensible way to evaluate Drip is to install the trial, connect the store, and read the price at your real active people count. Do that before you plan the move: the base rate of $39 covers a small list and climbs from there. Drip fits a Shopify direct to consumer brand that wants store-first flows and onsite campaigns from one vendor. It suits a team willing to get a quote at its list size. ChatGPT named it among the Brevo alternatives for Shopify in our 2 November 2026 test.
Is Drip right for you?
Choose it if you run a Shopify direct to consumer brand, want store-first flows and onsite campaigns, and will get a quote at your list size.
Skip it if you need a free plan, a published price at 10,000 or 50,000 contacts, Magento, or transactional email.
Drip evidence
- Store flows: Pre-built Shopify flows for price drop, abandoned cart, back in stock and welcome, plus real-time segmentation on store data (Shopify listing, 2 November 2026).
- Price basis: From $39 a month; the price rises with active people and email volume (Shopify listing).
- Reviews: Shopify App Store 4.5 from 56 reviews, listed since October 2019.
Drip: watch out for
Think twice if you want to know the bill first. Drip's tiers above $39 are not published on its Shopify listing, and its pricing page could not be read on 2 November 2026.
The review base is small and Magento is not named on the listing.

8. MailerLite · Best for Small budget stores that do not need SMS
MailerLite
Best for Small budget stores that do not need SMS
- Facts
- Shopify App Store 2.4 (27) · from $12 per month for 500 subscribers · free plan yes
MailerLite is a low-cost email platform with a clean automation builder, priced by subscribers. Comfort costs $12 a month for 500 subscribers with 5,000 emails, 50 active automations and email support. It costs $49 at 5,000 subscribers, $89 at 10,000, $179 at 25,000 and $319 at 50,000. Power costs $25 at 500 subscribers, $129 at 10,000 and $389 at 50,000, with unlimited emails, unlimited automations, multiple triggers, unlimited seats and live chat. Yearly billing saves 10%. The Free plan allows 250 subscribers, 2,500 emails and three automations. Against Brevo, there is no contact cap on the small steps and the logo is removed on every paid plan. But there is no SMS in the marketing product, no WhatsApp and no transactional email, which MailerLite points to its separate MailerSend product. Ecommerce triggers, sales tracking and Shopify and WooCommerce integrations are listed in the plan comparison.
The weak point for a store is the Shopify app. MailerLite Email Automation, listed since 2022, is rated 2.4 from 27 reviews. It does sync customers and subscribers, pull products into emails and send abandoned cart emails. There is no Magento integration, dedicated IPs are an Enterprise add-on for lists above 200,000, and deliverability support comes with Enterprise. Migration help is not advertised beyond the import tools. That makes MailerLite a fit for a small Shopify or WooCommerce store that wants newsletters and a few flows at the lowest bill after Sender. It is a poor fit for a brand that needs SMS, recommendations or Magento. It costs $89 at 10,000 subscribers, the same as Brevo Standard at 40,000 emails. The saving over Brevo only appears if you send more than four campaigns a month. Gemini named it the budget pick for a Shopify store leaving Brevo on 2 November 2026.
Is MailerLite right for you?
Choose it if you run a small Shopify or WooCommerce store, want newsletters and simple flows, and do not need SMS or Magento.
Skip it if SMS, product recommendations or Magento matter, or the Shopify app's 2.4 rating worries you.

MailerLite: watch out for
Think twice if your store relies on the Shopify app, which is rated 2.4 from 27 reviews. MailerLite also has no SMS, no Magento integration and dedicated IPs only on Enterprise.
Transactional email is a separate product, MailerSend.

How these Brevo alternatives show up in AI search
We asked five buyer prompts on 2 November 2026 through DataForSEO's AI answer endpoint, two of them on a second engine. Klaviyo was named in six of the seven answers and Omnisend in five. Sender was the cheapest pick with SMS on both engines that answered that prompt. The engines cited vendor help centers, Shopify's own guides and review sites rather than agency posts. The facts a buyer hears come from the vendors' pricing pages, the same sources this ranking uses.

Red flags when choosing a Brevo alternative
- A price that only appears in a calculator or on a sales call. Budget at 10,000 and 50,000 contacts before you talk to anyone.
- A Shopify app with a low rating or a tiny review count. It is the integration you will live with every day.
- SMS sold without a published per message price, or an approval process you learn about after signing.
- Automation caps by contact count on the plan you can afford, the exact limit that pushes stores off Brevo's Starter plan.
- Migration help that moves contacts but not flows, segments or templates. Ask for the list of what gets rebuilt.
- Magento support that exists only on an enterprise tier or through a partner you have not met.

| A Shopify brand under $1M a year with 5,000 contacts and simple flows | Omnisend Standard, Sender Standard | $81 a month on Omnisend; $39 on Sender |
| A Shopify or Magento store with 10,000 contacts where flows drive revenue | Klaviyo Email, Omnisend Pro | $150 on Klaviyo or $150 on Omnisend Pro, plus a Klaviyo agency or Omnisend agency project if you want the flows built |

What it costs to switch from Brevo
The platform fee is the smaller half of the switch. The work is exporting contacts with their consent fields and unsubscribes, then rebuilding automation flows and templates. You also authenticate the sending domain again, reinstall forms and popups, and warm the new account by sending to engaged segments first. Plan two to four weeks for a store with five to ten flows, and keep Brevo read only for 30 days to compare attribution. If you want it done for you, an ecommerce email marketing agency can run the migration and the first sends. Magento stores comparing platforms can also read our guide to the best email marketing platforms for Magento, which has a Brevo section.
| Platform | Price at 10,000 contacts | Price at 50,000 contacts | Migration help from the vendor |

| Omnisend | $132 Standard or $150 Pro | $413 Standard or $715 Pro | Free migration in up to five days; Magento stores connect through our free Magento 2 module (Omnisend Magento integration) |

FAQ
What is the best Brevo alternative for an ecommerce store?
Omnisend for most Shopify and WooCommerce stores. It costs $132 a month at 10,000 contacts, with native SMS from $0.007 a message. Every plan has 24/7 support and a free migration in up to five days. Klaviyo if flows already drive your revenue and you will use predictive analytics every week, at $150 for 10,000 profiles.
What is the cheapest Brevo alternative with SMS?
Sender. Its Standard plan costs $9 a month for 500 subscribers and $69 at 10,000, with SMS messaging, A/B testing and ecommerce reports included. The free plan covers up to 2,500 subscribers. It lacks Magento, predictive analytics and recommendation blocks, so it suits small stores with simple flows.
Why do stores leave Brevo?
Three reasons show up in Brevo's own pricing. The three smallest email steps cap contacts at 500, 1,500 and 2,500. Ecommerce features such as AI recommendations and back in stock alerts sit on the $499 Professional plan. And the Shopify app installs from inside Brevo, with one store per account recommended.
Is Klaviyo worth the switch from Brevo?
If your flows already produce a meaningful share of revenue, usually yes. You get real-time Shopify sync, predictive analytics and 60 plus pre-built flows on every paid plan. If your list is large and your sending is light, usually no. At 50,000 profiles Klaviyo costs $720 a month, against $249 on Brevo Standard for four campaigns a month.
What are the free alternatives to Brevo?
Sender's free plan is the largest: 2,500 subscribers and 15,000 emails a month with Sender branding. Omnisend, Klaviyo and Mailchimp each give 250 contacts and 500 emails a month, and MailerLite gives 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails. Brevo's own free plan allows 300 emails a day to a list of up to 100,000 contacts.
How long does it take to migrate from Brevo?
Plan two to four weeks for a store with five to ten flows. Contacts and unsubscribes export in a day; rebuilding flows, templates, forms and domain authentication takes the rest. Omnisend promises a free migration in up to five days, Sender and ActiveCampaign offer free migration help, and Klaviyo publishes a migration checklist.
Can I keep Brevo for transactional email and move marketing elsewhere?
Yes. Every Brevo plan, including Free, includes transactional email over SMTP and API. Order confirmations and shipping updates can stay on Brevo while campaigns and flows move to Omnisend, Klaviyo or Mailchimp. Keep the sending domains separate so marketing complaints do not touch your transactional reputation.
